Agil Nabiyev
Agil Nabiyev ( az, Aqil Nəbiyev; born 16 June 1982) is an Azerbaijani football manager and former player. He is the manager of Shuvalan. Career Nabiyev was born in Tovuz. On 13 January 2013, Nabiyev signed an 18-month contract with FK Baku. Tovuz, Azerbaijan
Tovuz () is a city and the capital of the Tovuz District of Azerbaijan. It's famous for its wine-making, and it also has several archaeological sites. Tovuz region was established on August 8, 1930. The 2012–13 Azerbaijan Premier League was the twenty first season of the Premier League since its establishment in 1992. The season began on 4 August 2012 and finished on 20 May 2013. Neftchi Baku are the defending champions, having won the previous season. No club from 2012–13 Azerbaijan First Division was directly promoted. Teams A total of 12 teams will contest the league, including 12 sides from the 2011–12 season, which means two teams will not be promoted from the 2011–12 Azerbaijan First Division. The 2011–12 Azerbaijan Premier League (known as the Unibank Premyer Liqası for sponsorship reasons) was the twentieth season of the Premier League since its establishment in 1992. Neftchi Baku was the defending champions, having won their second Azerbaijani championship the previous season. A total of twelve teams participated in the league, the ten sides remaining of the 2010–11 season, one promoted club from the 2010–11 Azerbaijan First Division and a totally new club instead of defunct First Division champions FC Absheron. The format of the league was same as 2010–11 season. There is only one change in season's regulation as only champion of 2011–12 Azerbaijan First Division was directly promoted, while runners up of first division played play-off game with the team that finished 11th in Azerbaijan Premier League. The 2010–11 Azerbaijan Premier League (known as the Unibank Premyer Liqası for sponsorship reasons) was the nineteenth season of the Premier League since its establishment in 1992. The fixtures were announced on 29 July 2010; the season began on 7 August 2010 and ended on 28 May 2011. Neftchi Baku were the eventual champions, winning their first Azerbaijani championship since 2005. The league was competed over two stages. The first stage consisted of a regular home-and-away round-robin schedule for a total of 22 matches per team. The competition was then split in half, with the teams ranked first through sixth playing out the championship and the European spots while the bottom six teams having to avoid one of the two relegation places. The 2008–09 Azerbaijan Premier League is the 17th season of Azerbaijan Premier League, the Azerbaijani professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1992. Inter Baku were the defending champions, having won the previous season. Teams FK Gänclärbirliyi Sumqayit and ABN Bärdä were relegated after finishing the previous season in 13th and 14th place, respectively. They were replaced by the champions of the two groups in the Azerbaijan First Division, Bakılı Baku and MOIK Baku. On 8 July 2008, FK Masallı withdrew their participation from the league, citing competitional and financial problems as reasons. Shuvalan FK ( az, Şüvəlan Futbol Klubu, ) is an Azerbaijani football club based in Şüvəlan, Baku. The club was renamed four times in its short history becoming Olimpik Baku, Olimpik-Shuvalan Baku, AZAL and Shuvalan. UEFA is still recognizing the club as Olimpik-Shuvalan at European competitions.
