Agil Mammadov (born 1 May 1989 in Nakhchivan (city), Nakhchivan) is an Azerbaijani professional association football, footballer who plays as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper for Neftçi PFK, Neftchi Baku in the Azerbaijan Premier League. Career Club Mammadov played for FK Baku in a qualifier for the 2008–09 UEFA Champions League. On 4 December 2014, Mammadov left FK Baku after not being paid by the club. On 24 July 2016, Mammadov signed with AZAL PFK. On 5 June 2017, Mammadov signed a one-year contract with Gabala FK. Leaving the club on 29 December 2017, with Neftchi Baku announced the signing of Mammadov on a contract until the end of the 2017–18 Neftchi Baku PFC season, 2017–18 season, with the option of an additional year. On 7 January 2019, Mammadov returned to Neftçi PFK, Neftchi Baku from Gabala FK, Gabala for his third stint with the club, signing an 18-month contract. Nakhchivan ( az, Naxçıvan ; arm, Նախիջևան, Nakhijevan) is the capital of the eponymous Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, located west of Baku. The municipality of Nakhchivan consists of the city of Nakhchivan, the settlement of Əliabad, Nakhchivan, Əliabad and the villages of Başbaşı, Bulqan, Haciniyyət, Qaraçuq, Qaraxanbəyli, Nakhchivan, Qaraxanbəyli, Tumbul, Qarağalıq, and Daşduz. 2010–11 FK Baku Season
The 2010-11 FK Baku season was the club's thirteenth season in the Azerbaijan Premier League. They started the season under German manager Winfried Schäfer, however he was sacked and replaced by Latvian Aleksandrs Starkovs in January 2011. FK Baku finished the season in sixth place. They also took part in the 2010–11 Azerbaijan Cup, getting knocked out by Khazar Lankaran in the semi-final stage. Baku entered the 2010–11 UEFA Europa League at the first qualifying round stage, and got knocked out in this round by Budućnost Podgorica, from Montenegro, after fielding a suspended player in the first leg in which Budućnost Podgorica were awarded a 3–0 win after the original match had ended in a 2–1 win for Baku. 2008–09 Azerbaijan Premier League
The 2008–09 Azerbaijan Premier League is the 17th season of Azerbaijan Premier League, the Azerbaijani professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1992. Inter Baku were the defending champions, having won the previous season. Teams FK Gänclärbirliyi Sumqayit and ABN Bärdä were relegated after finishing the previous season in 13th and 14th place, respectively. They were replaced by the champions of the two groups in the Azerbaijan First Division, Bakılı Baku and MOIK Baku. On 8 July 2008, FK Masallı withdrew their participation from the league, citing competitional and financial problems as reasons. The 2018–19 season was Gabala's 14th season in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top-flight of Azerbaijani football. The club participated in the Premier League, finishing fourth.
