2014–15 FK Baku Season
The Baku 2014-15 season is Baku's seventeenth Azerbaijan Premier League season. They will compete in the 2014–15 Azerbaijan Premier League and the 2014–15 Azerbaijan Cup. It is their second season with Milinko Pantić as their manager. Milinko Pantić left the club by mutual consent on 24 July 2014, with Ibrahim Uzundzha being appointed as the club's new manager on 12 August 2014. FK Baku
FC Baku ( az, "Bakı" Futbol Klubu) is an Azerbaijani football club based in Baku that has been an amateur club since 2016. Prior to that, Baku played 18 seasons in the Azerbaijan Premier League, winning the championship twice and earning the National Cup three times. The club ceased operations in 2018. History Early years (1997–2004) Led by Shamil Heydarov, Dinamo finished 2nd and entered UEFA Cup 1998-99 season but was eliminated by Argeş Piteşti, 1:7 on aggregate, in Preliminary round. 1997–98 season Dinamo participated with new head coach. Under the manage of Ruslan Abdullayev, the team passed the first part of tournament distance well, although 3rd place and 52 points were not enough for medals or European cups, and Dinamo completed the season at 6th place. Pedro Mario Álvarez Abrante (born 2 February 1982), commonly known as Mario, is a Spanish retired professional footballer as a central defender. Club career Born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Mario started his senior career with Atlético Madrid, but could only represent its C and B-teams. Deividas Česnauskis (born 30 June 1981) is a Lithuanian former professional footballer who played as a winger. He made 63 FIFA-official appearances for the Lithuanian national team scoring four goals. Club career Early career Česnauskis was born in Kuršėnai, Lithuanian SSR. Sumgayit FK ( az, "Sumqayıt" futbol klubu, ) is an Azerbaijani football club based in Sumgayit that plays in the Azerbaijan Premier League. History The club was founded in 2010 as Sumgayit FK. In May 2011, the team secured their promotion to Azerbaijan Premier League after getting wildcard place instead of defunct Absheron. Ravan Baku FK ( az, Rəvan Futbol Klubu) is an Azerbaijani football club, based in Baku, that plays in the Azerbaijan First Division. History The club was founded in 2009.
