Aghazadeh
''Aghazadeh'' ( fa, آقازاده, lit=born to '' Agha'' or noble-born) (Kurdish: آقازاده) is a term that entered the colloquialism in Iran and Kurdistan region in the 1990s to describe the children of elite who emerge as the men of means and influence, usually in a way that resembles familial nepotism and corruption. This includes utilization of the positions within the hierarchy to gain inside information and preferential status which results in replication of wealth and power across generations and means "fewer top positions are available to talented people without family connections". The phenomenon is exemplified with family members of high-ranking officials in Iran such as Hashemi Rafsanjani, Nategh Nouri and Vaez Tabasi. Corruption is a serious problem in Iran, being widespread, mostly in the government. Corruption levels Transparency International's 2021 Corruption Perception Index ranks the country in 150th place out of 180 countries, on a scale where lower-ranked countries are perceived to have a more honest public sector. Agha (title)
Agha ( tr, ağa; ota, آغا; fa, آقا, āghā; "chief, master, lord") is an honorific title for a civilian or officer, or often part of such title. In the Ottoman times, some court functionaries and leaders of organizations like bazaar or the janissary units were entitled to the ''agha'' title. In rural communities, this term is used for people who own considerable lands and are influential in their community. Regardless of a rural community, this title is also used for any male that is influential or respected. Ali Akbar Nategh-Nouri
Ali Akbar Nateq-Nouri ( fa, علیاکبر ناطقنوری; sometimes spelt Nategh-Nouri, born 6 October 1944) is an Iranian politician, who served as the Chairman of the Parliament of Iran from 1992 to 2000. He was also the Minister of the Interior of Iran from 1981 to 1985. Early life Nategh-Nouri was the son of Abulqasem Nategh-Nouri. He came to Tehran at the age of 10 with met Ruhollah Khomeini in 1961 and joined the ranks of the opponents of the government of that time. He went to prison several times and was banned from the pulpit. Nouri has a seminary education up to the level of jurisprudence and principles. Abbas Vaez-Tabasi
Abbas Vaez Tabasi ( fa, عباس واعظ طبسی; 25 June 1935 – 4 March 2016) was an influential Iranian cleric who held memberships at different institutions. He was Grand Imam and Chairman of the Astan Quds Razavi board from 1979 until his death in 2016. Early life Vaez Tabasi hails from a family of Mashhadi origin. He was born on 25 June 1935. He began his education when he was only 12 years old in various seminaries.
