Agglutination Metal Festival is an Italian heavy metal music, metal music festival, festival held annually in Basilicata, among the towns of Senise, Chiaromonte and Sant'Arcangelo (province of Potenza, Potenza). Born in 1995 as an event to promote emerging groups, it is one of the first metal festivals in Italy and one of the most long-lived metal events in Europe. It has hosted bands such as Overkill (band), Overkill, Cannibal Corpse, Venom (band), Venom, Mayhem (band), Mayhem, Stratovarius, Carcass (band), Carcass, Exodus (band), Exodus, Gamma Ray (band), Gamma Ray, Dark Tranquillity and Marduk (band), Marduk. Dark Tranquillity is a Swedish melodic death metal band from Gothenburg. They are considered one of the pioneering acts of the Gothenburg metal scene, which also includes bands such as In Flames and At the Gates. Vision Divine is an Italian power/progressive metal band formed in 1998. History Originally a solo project from Olaf Thörsen (born Carlo Andrea Magnani). Soon, Fabio Lione rejoined him after the first Labyrinth period ("No Limits"), and then what was supposed to be a solo project quickly turns into a band, taking its new name from Labyrinth's previous name ("Vision") and from the title that was supposed to be given to Olaf's first solo album ("Divine"). Inchiuvatu ( scn, Nailed) is a Sicilian musical group combining symphonic black metal mixed with Sicilian folk melodies, also played with fiscalettu, a traditional Sicilian flute, and a strong prominence of the piano. Almost all lyrics are sung in Sicilian language, except for some occasional incursion in English and Italian.The sound of Inchiuvatu is often compared with that of many other symphonic black metal bands like Emperor or Dimmu Borgir, but their peculiar attitude and continuous link with the Sicilian traditions make their compositions unique. Athena is a rock/ska band from Istanbul, Turkey, founded by twin brothers Hakan Özoğuz (guitar and backing vocals) and Gökhan Özoğuz (lead vocals and guitar) in 1987. Labyrinth is an Italian power metal band formed in 1991 in Massa, Italy. The band underwent a change in style and themes after the departure of Olaf Thorsen in 2002. Stormlord is an extreme metal (self-classified as "Extreme epic metal") band from Rome, Italy. Necrodeath is an Italian extreme metal band from Liguria. It is one of the first extreme metal bands originating in Italy.
