Aggi Ramudu
''Aggi Ramudu'' () is a 1954 Telugu-language swashbuckler film, produced and directed by S. M. Sriramulu Naidu. It stars N. T. Rama Rao and Bhanumathi Ramakrishna, with music composed by S. M. Subbaiah Naidu. The film was simultaneously shot in Tamil as ''Malaikkallan'' (1954). Plot The film begins with a Zamindar, Somanatham (D. Balasubrahmanyam), who lives with his daughter Sarada (Bhanumathi Ramakrishna) and his sister Kamakshamma (Rushyendramani), whose son Kumar went missing when he was 10 years old. Somanatham's wayward nephew Veerraju (Sriram) plans to marry Sarada and sends his henchman Katturi Kalayya (R. Nageswara Rao) to kidnap her. Aggi Ramudu (N. T. Rama Rao) saves her and takes her to his abode in the forest. Acharya Aatreya
Acharya Aatreya (born Kilambi Venkata Narasimhacharyulu ) (7 May 1921 – 13 September 1989) was an Indian poet, lyricist, playwright, and screenwriter known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He received the state Nandi Award for Best Lyricist in 1981 for "Andamaina Lokamani" from the film Tholi Kodi Koosindi, ''Tholikoodi Koosindi''. He is popularly known as ''Manasu Kavi (''). Life Athreya was born on 7 May 1921 in Mangalampadu village near Sullurpeta, Nellore district of the Madras Presidency of British India. His birthname was Kilambi Venkata Narasimhacharyulu. He took ''Acharya'' from his birth name and ''Aatreya'' his Gotra name, combined them as ''Acharya Aatreya'' and adopted it as his pen name. Mukkamala (actor)
Mukkamala Krishna Murthy (1920–1987), known mononymously by his surname as Mukkamala (Telugu: ముక్కామల), was a lawyer turned actor who was active in Telugu films in the 1950s and the 1960s. He was a stage actor in his student days and was popular in the role of French General Bussy in ''Bobbili Yuddham'', a stage play based on the historical Battle of Bobbili (Bobbili Yuddham). He joined the Telugu film industry in the late 1940s in Madras and played a variety of character roles in a career lasting for about 35 years. He died in 1987. Radha (born 1932) and Jayalakshmi (1932 - 2014), popularly known as Radha Jayalakshmi ( ta, ராதா ஜெயலட்சுமி), were an Indian Carnatic music vocalist duo as well as playback singers in films in the 1940s and 1950s.
