Agents Of Oblivion
Agents of Oblivion was an American alternative rock, rock band from Louisiana that evolved from Acid Bath. Fronted by Dax Riggs, their sound displayed influences from swamp rock, psychedelic rock, blues rock, grunge and Heavy metal music, metal, among others. History After Audie Pitre died, Dax Riggs decided to form a slower band in Daisyhead & The Mooncrickets. However, it only laid out the basics of what was to come. Soon after, Agents of Oblivion was formed, a band including two former members of Acid Bath, Riggs and Mike Sanchez. The title of the band derives from a line in "The Beautiful Downgrade", the bonus poem from Acid Bath's last album ''Paegan Terrorism Tactics''. Hellboy
Hellboy is a fictional superhero created by writer-artist Mike Mignola. ''Gummo'' is a 1997 American experimental drama film written and directed by Harmony Korine, starring Jacob Reynolds, Nick Sutton, Jacob Sewell, and Chloë Sevigny. Paegan Terrorism Tactics
''Paegan Terrorism Tactics'' is the second and final studio album by American heavy metal band Acid Bath. It is the band's last album before their disbanding in 1997 due to the death of bassist Audie Pitre. The album was written while the band was touring. The album and first track spell "paegan" with an added "e" to resemble Old English. The album's cover is a painting by Dr. Jack Kevorkian. Overview The lyrics on this album are poetic and further showcase Dax Riggs's dark sense of humor. "Paegan Love Song", according to Riggs, makes references to when the band was visiting a beach in Florida, where some people offered the band a deliriant called Angel's Trumpets. Riggs said the trip lasted for days, and the lines "dying felt so goddamn good today" refer to the band members waking up delirious on these flowers. ''Bride of the Monster'' is a 1955 American science fiction horror film, co-written, produced and directed by Edward D. Oni Press is an American independent comic book and graphic novel publisher based in Portland, Oregon. In 2019, it became an imprint label following the company's merger with Lion Forge Comics. The merged company, Oni–Lion Forge Publishing Group (OLFPG), is owned by Polarity. Oni Press has remained the "predominant name used for publishing comics" by OLFPG. Mike Mignola (; born September 16, 1960) is an American comics artist and writer best known for creating ''Hellboy'' for Dark Horse Comics, part of a shared universe of titles including ''B.P.R.D.'', '' Abe Sapien'', '' Lobster Johnson'', '' Witchfinder'' and various spinoffs. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Acid Bath
Acid Bath was an American sludge metal band from Houma, Louisiana, active from 1991 to 1997. Acid Bath combined doom metal roots with influences from hardcore punk, death metal, gothic rock, and blues to create the band's unique sound. They broke up after the death of bassist Audie Pitre in a traffic collision in January 1997. History Acid Bath was an incarnation of two bands, Dark Karnival which featured Audie Pitre, Sammy "Pierre" Duet, and Tommy Viator, and Golgotha which featured Dax Riggs, Mike Sanchez, Jimmy Kyle, and Jerry "Boon" Businelli. Dax David Riggs (born October 15, 1973) is an American musician, best known for fronting the sludge metal band Acid Bath in the 1990s. He has been a part of many projects since then, including Agents of Oblivion and Deadboy & the Elephantmen. In 2007 he began releasing material under his own name. Bands Corruption Corruption was Riggs in his teens fronting a thrash metal band that played cover songs, though they never played a real gig.
