Tommie Agee (American Football)
Thomas Lee Agee (born February 22, 1964) is a former American football running back in the National Football League for the Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, and Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at Auburn University. He won Super Bowl XXVII and Super Bowl XXVIII with the Cowboys back-to-back, beating the Buffalo Bills in both games. Early years Agee attended Maplesville High School, where he earned All-state honors in football, basketball, and track. He also practiced baseball. He accepted a football scholarship from Auburn University. His best season came as a redshirt freshman playing in a wishbone offense, on a backfield that included Bo Jackson, Lionel James and Brent Fullwood. Tommie Lee Agee (August 9, 1942 – January 22, 2001) was an American professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball as a center fielder from through , most notably as a member of the New York Mets team that became known as the Miracle Mets when, they rose from being perennial losers to defeat the favored Baltimore Orioles in the 1969 World Series for one of the most improbable upsets in World Series history. Agee performed two impressive defensive plays in center field to help preserve a Mets victory in the third game of the series. A two-time Major League All-Star player, Agee was also a two-time Gold Glove Award winner and, was named the AL Rookie of the Year in 1966 as a member of the Chicago White Sox. Tajuan Agee (born November 12, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque of the French LNB Pro A. He played college basketball for Iona and Tyler Junior College. Early life and high school career Agee grew up in Chicago and grew up playing baseball and football. Early life Agee was born Sarah Edith Sonneman on January 2, 1946, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Her mother, Gladys Margaret Gosnell Sonneman, was an organist at the First Baptist Church and for the silent movies which were shown at the UARK Theater and Palace Theater, as well as working as a field representative for the Arkansas Welfare Department. Arthur "Man" Agee Jr. (; born October 22, 1972) is a former high school basketball player from Chicago. Agee was one of two Chicago-area basketball players whose lives were chronicled in the 1994 documentary ''Hoop Dreams''. Early life Agee is the second child and first son of Arthur "Bo" Agee Sr. and Sheila Agee.
