''Agdistis'' is a genus of moths in the family Pterophoridae described by Jacob Hübner in 1825. It is the only genus in the Agdistinae subfamily which was described by J. W. Tutt in 1907. Agdistis Adactyla
''Agdistis adactyla'' is a moth species in the family Pterophoridae, and the type species of genus ''Agdistis''. It is known from most of the Palearctic realm, where it occurs from central and south-western Europe and North Africa to eastern Asia. Distribution The species is known from Europe, North Africa and Asia, with a type locality in Austria. Within Europe, the species occurs from southern France and northern Germany eastwards. A single record from the Netherlands, 250 km from its nearest known locality, has been deemed an incidental introduction. In Africa, the species is known from Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and Jordan. In Asia, the species has been recorded from Russia, Israel, Turkey, Armenia, Iran, Afghanistan, Kazachstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia and China. Agdistis Caradjai
''Agdistis caradjai'' is a moth in the family Pterophoridae. It is known from Turkey, Russia and Iran.A new species, a new synonym, and new distribution records in the genus Agdistis Hübner, 1825 from Iran (Pterophoridae: Agdistinae)
The wingspan is about 23 mm. The head smoothly is scaled and grey-brown. The thorax and abdomen are greyish brown and the forewings have a grey-brown ground colour.

The habitat consists of heavily pastured steppe interspersed with ploughed fields.
