Annarita Zambrano
Annarita Zambrano is an Italian film director. She graduated in Modern Literature from Sapienza and in 2000 moved to Paris to work on her doctoral thesis on the aesthetics of cinema. She has made a name for herself as a filmmaker after a series of successful short films that have screened at influential film festivals: ''La troisième fois'' (2006), ''Andante Mezzo Forte'' (2007), ''À la lune montante'' (2009), ''Tre ore'' (2010), ''Dans le coeur des grands'' (2012). ''Dans le coeur des grands'' won the Grand Prix at 2012 Conti Film Festival. In 2013, she filmed a documentary ''L'anima del Gattopardo'' about Luchino Visconti, made for Ciné+ and RAI channels. In the same year her short film ''Ophelis'' was selected for the Short Film Competition in Cannes. Barbora Bobuľová (born 29 April 1974) is an Italian actress. Since 1995, she has lived and worked mainly in Italy. Life and work Born in Martin, Bobuľová trained at the National Drama Academy in Bratislava before moving to Italy in 1995. 2017 Cannes Film Festival
The 70th Cannes Film Festival took place from 17 to 28 May 2017, in Cannes, France. Spanish film director and screenwriter Pedro Almodóvar was the President of the Jury for the festival and Italian actress Monica Bellucci hosted the opening and closing ceremonies. '' Ismael's Ghosts'', directed by French director Arnaud Desplechin, was the opening film for the festival. The festival celebrated its 70th edition. In late March 2017, the official poster of the festival was revealed featuring Italian actress Claudia Cardinale. The actress responded, "'I am honoured and proud to be flying the flag for the 70th Festival de Cannes, and delighted with this choice of photo.
