Hervé De Toulgoët
Hervé de Toulgoët (28 March 1911 – 14 September 2009) was a French entomologist. He specialised in moths of the families Arctiinae (moth), Arctiidae and Zygaenidae. He also studied the beetle genus ''Carabus''. He was written about by Paul Thiaucourt and Jocelyne Navatte. According to Navatte's note, Toulgoët published 179 works. On the genus ''Carabus'', he published a catalogue of the types of the Paris National Museum of Natural History (France), National Museum of Natural History collection. On the Zygaenidae he published a note on some Moroccan species. His other works are mainly on Arctiidae. Per Olof Christopher Aurivillius (15 January 1843 – 20 July 1928) was a Swedish entomologist. Life Christopher Aurivillius was born at Forsa, Sweden. He was the director of the Natural History Museum in Stockholm and he specialised in Coleoptera and Lepidoptera. He was, for a long time, the secretary of the Royal Swedish Academy of Science . His brother was the zoologist Carl Wilhelm Samuel Aurivillius (1854–1899) and his son the zoologist Sven Magnus Aurivillius (1892–1928). The Arctiinae (formerly called the family Arctiidae) are a large and diverse subfamily of moths with around 11,000 species found all over the world, including 6,000 neotropical species.Scoble, MJ.
