Private Company
A privately held company (or simply a private company) is a company whose shares and related rights or obligations are not offered for public subscription or publicly negotiated in the respective listed markets, but rather the company's stock is offered, owned, traded, exchanged privately, or Over-the-counter (finance), over-the-counter. In the case of a closed corporation, there are a relatively small number of shareholders or company members. Related terms are closely-held corporation, unquoted company, and unlisted company. Though less visible than their public company, publicly traded counterparts, private companies have major importance in the world's economy. In 2008, the 441 list of largest private non-governmental companies by revenue, largest private companies in the United States accounted for ($1.8 trillion) in revenues and employed 6.2 million people, according to ''Forbes''. In 2005, using a substantially smaller pool size (22.7%) for comparison, the 339 companies on ...

Rotorway Exec
The RotorWay Exec is a family of American two-bladed, skid-equipped, two-seat kit helicopters, manufactured by RotorWay International of Chandler, Arizona and supplied in kit form for amateur-construction. Design and development The Exec 162F is the latest in the Exec series of helicopters manufactured by RotorWay International. The RotorWay Scorpion design was updated with an aluminum tail and full fiberglass cockpit enclosure to become the Exec. The Exec 90 was developed in the early 1990s, it was, at the time, the only piston-powered helicopter to utilize an asymmetrical airfoil for improved autorotation characteristics and safety. In 1994, a fuel injection system with electronic ignition, and FADEC was added to the Exec 90, producing the Exec 162F. Unlike most U.S.-designed helicopters, the main rotor on the Exec 162F rotates clockwise, as seen from above. The Exec series was further developed into the RotorWay A600 Talon, which replaced the Exec in production.Bayerl ...

Aircraft Manufacturers Of Colombia
An aircraft is a vehicle that is able to fly by gaining support from the air. It counters the force of gravity by using either static lift or by using the dynamic lift of an airfoil, or in a few cases the downward thrust from jet engines. Common examples of aircraft include airplanes, helicopters, airships (including blimps), gliders, paramotors, and hot air balloons. The human activity that surrounds aircraft is called ''aviation''. The science of aviation, including designing and building aircraft, is called ''aeronautics.'' Crewed aircraft are flown by an onboard pilot, but unmanned aerial vehicles may be remotely controlled or self-controlled by onboard computers. Aircraft may be classified by different criteria, such as lift type, aircraft propulsion, usage and others. History Flying model craft and stories of manned flight go back many centuries; however, the first manned ascent — and safe descent — in modern times took place by larger hot-air ball ...

AeroAndina MXP-1000 Tayrona
The Aeroandina MXP-1000 Tayrona is a single engine, high wing, two seat ultralight, based on the Zenair formula, developed in Colombia by AeroAndina. It was launched in 2005. Design and development The MXP-1000 Tayrona, named after a Colombian National Park is a development of the MXP-800 Fantasy, itself a development of Aeroandina's Zenair CH 701-based MXP-740/750 series of high wing, side-by-side configuration ultralights. It is mostly constructed from aluminium alloy, with a steel cage around the cockpit which is under the wing and cutaway at the rear. The constant chord wing is braced to the lower fuselage with pairs of V-form, faired lift struts assisted by jury struts. The first four Tayronas had flaperons but all later aircraft have flaps. The leading edge slats of earlier MXP models have been abandoned to increase cruising speed. The angular fin and rudder has sweep on its leading edge and the tailplane, set on top of the fuselage, is also swept.Tacke, Willi; Mari ...

STOL
A short takeoff and landing (STOL) aircraft is a conventional fixed-wing aircraft that has short runway requirements for takeoff and landing. Many STOL-designed aircraft also feature various arrangements for use on airstrips with harsh conditions (such as high altitude or ice). STOL aircraft, including those used in scheduled passenger airline operations, have also been operated from STOLport airfields which feature short runways. Design considerations Many fixed-wing STOL aircraft are bush planes, though some, like the de Havilland Canada Dash-7, are designed for use on prepared airstrips; likewise, many STOL aircraft are taildraggers, though there are exceptions like the PAC P-750 XSTOL, the Quest Kodiak, the de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter and the Peterson 260SE. Autogyros also have STOL capability, needing a short ground roll to get airborne, but capable of a near-zero ground roll when landing. Runway length requirement is a function of the square of the minimum ...
