Adul Lahsoh
Adul Lahsoh ( th, อดุล หละโสะ; ; born 19 September 1986), simply known as Dun ( th, ดุล) is a Thai of Malay descent retired professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder. Personal life Lahsoh hails from Phatthalung province and is a Muslim of Malay descent. Club career His career began in the youth team Adul of Chonburi. In 2004, he received a contract for the first Team, for whom he played until 2007. During this time he completed a total of 38 games for the club. In his first three years in Chonburi, he managed the team to promotion to the Thai Premier League and became champions for the first time in 2007. 2006 also was with the club in the final of the Singapore Cup. He was followed, in 2008, his former coach Walter Jäger to Japan. There he played a season for Gainare Tottori in the JFL, before returning to Chonburi. Kiatisuk Senamuang ( th, เกียรติศักดิ์ เสนาเมือง; born 11 August 1973) is a Thai football manager and former footballer (played between 1989 and October 2007) who is manager of V.League 1 club Hoàng Anh Gia Lai. He is nicknamed "Thai Zico" by fans. During his eighteen-year career Kiatisuk played as a striker and scored 251 goals in 339 appearances. The former striker played for clubs in Malaysia, Singapore, England and Vietnam as well as in his homeland. Kiatisuk also earned 131 caps and scored 70 goals for Thailand between 1992 and 2007. In 1996, while playing for Raj Pracha FC Kiatisuk scored 127 goals in 71 games, achieving an (unrecognised) record as top scorer. 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualification (AFC)
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) section of the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification saw 43 teams competing for 4 or 5 berths in the final tournament in Brazil. As in recent tournaments the AFC had four direct qualifiers for the finals tournament in addition to a further possible place via the intercontinental play-offs against CONMEBOL's fifth-placed team, which was chosen through a random draw, rather than being decided by FIFA beforehand as in previous tournaments (e.g., 2010 against a team from OFC, 2006 against a team from CONCACAF). 2013 King's Cup
The 2013 King's Cup was an international football competition, the 42nd edition of the tournament. It was a two-round knockout tournament, with all matches held at the 700th Anniversary Stadium in Chiang Mai, Thailand between 23 January and 26 January. This edition features the hosts Thailand and three invited teams ( Sweden, Finland and North Korea). In the final Sweden defeated Finland 3–0 to win the tournament. Going into the tournament, North Korea were unofficial football world champions. In winning their semi-final, Sweden took the title and successfully defended it in the final. Singapore Cup
The Singapore Cup is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic Singaporean football. Established in 1998, it is the foremost football cup competition in the country. It is open to clubs in the Singapore Premier League. Since 2005, foreign teams from other countries in Southeast Asia are occasionally invited to compete in the Singapore Cup. Chonburi Province FC from Thailand was the first foreign club reaching the final in 2006 (they lost 3–2 in the final to local club Tampines Rovers). In 2009, Bangkok Glass became the second foreign team to reach the final, losing against local club Geylang United, but they beat Tampines Rovers in 2010 to become the first foreign winners of the Singapore Cup.
