Social adroitness is a personality trait measured in the Jackson Personality Inventory and the Jackson Personality Inventory-Revised.Markey, P.M., Markey, C.N. (2006). Adroitness assesses the ability to regulate your own behavior in order to get what you want from others. It differs from psychopathy in that the adroitness is not intrinsically narcissistic or manipulative, but refers rather to the set of social skills that allow one to work with others productively. In that sense it is closely related to conceptions of emotional intelligence. Design and construction The ''Attack'' class was ordered in 1964 to operate in Australian waters as patrol boats, based on lessons learned through using the s on patrols around Borneo during the Indonesia-Malaysia Confrontation, and to replace a variety of old patrol, search-and-rescue, and general-purpose craft. The ''L'Adroit''-class destroyer was a group of fourteen French Navy destroyers (''torpilleur'') laid down in 1925–26 and commissioned from 1928 to 1931. They were the successors to the , with the same armament, but being slightly heavier overall. Service history The class saw varied service in the Second World War. ''La Railleuse'' was the first French destroyer casualty of the war, being blown up in Casablanca harbour by an accidental torpedo explosion on 23 March 1940. USS Adroit (AM-82)
USS ''Adroit'' (AM-82/PC-1586) was an acquired by the United States Navy for the task of removing mines that had been placed in the water to prevent the safe passage of ships. ''Adroit'' was laid down on 31 July 1941 at Portland, Oregon, by the Commercial Iron Works; launched on 21 February 1942; and placed in commission on 28 July 1942. Pacific Ocean operations Following her commissioning, the minesweeper moved to San Francisco, for final fitting out and shakedown training. She left the west coast on 23 November and shaped a course for Hawaii. ''Adroit'' reached Pearl Harbor on 6 December and spent two weeks undergoing voyage repairs. USS ''Adroit'' (AM-509/MSO-509) was an Acme-class minesweeper acquired by the U.S. Navy for the task of removing mines that had been placed in the water to prevent the safe passage of ships.
