Adrigole GFC is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Adrigole in Cork, Ireland. Its Gaelic football team participates in competitions organized by Cork GAA, and is a member of Beara division. The club, like the other Beara clubs, does not field a hurling team. History The club was founded in 1927. Gaelic Athletic Association

Munster Junior Club Football Championship
The Munster Junior Club Football Championship, formally known for sponsorship reasons as the AIB Munster GAA Junior Club Football Championship, is a Gaelic football competition, organized by the Munster provincial council of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The competition is played between the winners of the Junior Football championships in the 6 counties of Munster. It was first played officially in 2003 when Annascaul from Kerry and Carbery Rangers from Cork played each other. The winners of this competition will play against the winners of the other three provincial champions and the winner of the Britain championship for the All-Ireland Junior Club Football Championship. John Lack O'Sullivan (1976 – 19 November 2002) was a Gaelic footballer and Australian rules footballer. Playing career The Adrigole GFC clubman was one of key players that won the Cork Junior Football Championship in 2002, but died in November 2002 before the final from a cardiac condition while swimming. He played for his divisional side Beara GAA that won the Cork Under-21 Football Championship in 1997 and has also represented Cork GAA at underage level. Kevin Jeremiah O'Sullivan (born 1948) is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played as a right wing-back at senior level for the Cork county team. Born in Adrigole, County Cork, O'Sullivan first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of twenty when he first linked up with the Cork under-21 team. He made his senior debut during the 1968-69 league. O'Sullivan quickly became a regular member of the starting fifteen and won one All-Ireland medal and three Munster medals. As a member of the Munster inter-provincial team for five consecutive years O'Sullivan won two Railway Cup medals. Morty O'Shea (13 January 1882 – 19 August 1970) was an Irish people, Irish Gaelic footballer who played as a full-back for the Cork GAA, Cork senior team. The Beara Junior A Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition organised by the Beara Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1927 for junior Gaelic football teams in the Beara Peninsula in County Cork, Ireland. The championship is currently suspended due to the fact that there are no teams categorised as junior A in the division. The title has been won at least once by eight different clubs. The all-time record-holders are Urhan, who have won a total of 28 titles. The Beara Junior Championship is an integral part of the wider Cork Junior A Football Championship. Adrigole
Adrigole () is a village on the Beara Peninsula in County Cork, Ireland. It is centred on the junction of the R572 and R574 regional roads. The electoral division in which the village sits has a sparsely distributed population of about 450 people. Adrigole is a scattered village strung approximately 9 km along the north-western shore of Bantry Bay on the scenic south coast of the Beara Peninsula. Looming over it is Hungry Hill (687m, 2,253 ft) with two rock-girt lakes which feed a cascade. Hungry Hill is the highest of the Caha range which forms the spine of the peninsula, and gave its name to Daphne du Maurier's novel about the local copper-mining barons of the 19th century. The Cork Intermediate A Football Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as Bon Secours Cork County Intermediate A Football Championship and abbreviated to the Cork IAFC) is an annual Gaelic football competition organised by the Cork County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the second tier intermediate clubs in the county of Cork in Ireland. It is the fourth tier overall in the entire Cork football championship system. The Cork Intermediate Championship was introduced in 1909 as a competition that would bridge the gap between the senior grade and the junior grade. At the time of its creation it was the second tier of Cork football. In its current format, the Cork Intermediate Championship begins in mid summer.
