Adriano Martins da Fonseca (born 1 April 1997), known as Adriano Martins, Adriano Mina or just Adriano, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a central defender for Atlético Goianiense. Career Early career Born in Rio de Janeiro, Adriano Martins represented Penapolense and Vitória as a youth. He made his senior debut with Bonsucesso in the 2018 Campeonato Carioca Série B1. Adriano began the 2019 season at Uberlândia. A regular starter, he scored twice in a 3–0 home win over on 5 May which sealed the club's promotion from the Campeonato Mineiro Módulo II. In July of that year, he joined Francana. Novorizontino Adriano moved to Novorizontino ahead of the 2020 campaign, but featured rarely in the club's consecutive promotions from the Série D to the Série B. Campeonato Brasileiro Série C
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série C is the third tier of the Brazilian football league system. Unlike the first and second divisions, the Série C is not played in a double round robin system, arguably because many participating teams lack the financial conditions to travel long distances. Thus, the tournament is organized in regional groups and the table prevents teams from distant states from playing each other in the initial rounds. Until 2008, any professional team could apply, but only 64 teams would take part in the tournament. The teams that had been relegated from the Série B in the previous year were joined by teams qualified for each federation state. The Copa Paulista de Futebol, formerly known as Copa FPF, also sometimes called Copa Federação Paulista de Futebol or, in English, São Paulo State Cup, is a tournament organized by Federação Paulista de Futebol Company every second half of the season.
