Adrian Zendejas
Adrián Zendejas Rodríguez (born August 30, 1995) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for USL Championship club Miami FC, on loan from Charlotte FC of Major League Soccer. Career Youth Zendejas grew up playing with Nomads SC and San Diego Surf of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, and for Hilltop High School, before joining the under-20s of Liga MX side Tijuana. Professional On June 30, 2016, Zendejas signed with United Soccer League side Swope Park Rangers. He went 8-0-0 in his first eight starts. In helping Rangers to the USL Cup Final, he had a 0.36 goals against average and 0.87 save percentage, both ranking best in the USL among all goalkeepers with at least eight appearances. In December 2016, Zendejas signed a Major League Soccer contract with Sporting Kansas City. He began the 2017 MLS season as backup to Tim Melia, before re-joining Rangers on loan from Sporting KC. 2016 USL Playoffs
The 2016 USL Playoffs is a postseason tournament following the 2016 United Soccer League regular season, the second since the league rebranded for the 2015 season. Including USL Pro history, it is the fifth postseason tournament. The tournament began on September 30 and will last until October 23. Sixteen teams (top 8 per conference) will compete, up from 12 last season, in the single elimination tournament. Teams will be seeded one through eight in each conference. The conference semifinal winners will play against each other in the Conference Championship, which will serve as the overall semifinals for the playoff. The winners of the Eastern and Western Conference Championship will play for the championship. The winner of the playoffs will be crowned league champion with the USL Cup. The 2021 MLS SuperDraft was the 22nd edition of the SuperDraft conducted by Major League Soccer. The SuperDraft is held every January prior to the start of the MLS season. The 2020 SuperDraft was the first held exclusively via conference call and web streaming. The Draft was once again held virtually, and began on January 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and consisted of three rounds (shortened from four rounds in prior years). Timothy Melia (; born May 15, 1986) is an American professional Association football, soccer player who plays as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper for Major League Soccer club Sporting Kansas City.
