Adrian White (musician)
Adrian White is a Canadian drummer. In 1994, White played drums on the first album from Devin Townsend's newly founded Strapping Young Lad Heavy as a Really Heavy Thing as well as co writing and demo recording the majority of Strapping Young Lad City. Shortly after he toured with Front Line Assembly (FLA) on the Hard Wired Tour in 1995–96 recording the Live Wired concert tour video and album. In 2000, Adrian rejoined FLA for more touring in Europe and the WGT Festival leaving the band in 2006 after the Artificial Soldier tour. In 2003 he pulled double duty, joining FLA side-projects Delerium and Conjure One for a sold-out North American tour. On 17 December 2010, Reset announced the return of Adrian White with the band at the same time they announced a concert to celebrate its 15th year of existence. ''City'' is the second studio album by Canadian extreme metal band Strapping Young Lad, released on February 11, 1997. Frontman Devin Townsend assembled a permanent lineup of Strapping Young Lad to record the album, including prolific drummer Gene Hoglan, and Townsend's former bandmates Jed Simon on guitar and Byron Stroud on bass. The album was critically acclaimed, with '' Revolver'' naming it one of "the greatest metal albums of all time", and it is widely considered Strapping Young Lad's best work. ''Fallout'' is a remix album by Vancouver industrial band Front Line Assembly, released in 2007. Initially announced as an EP, it is a collection of nine remixes by both the band themselves and other artists as well as three previously unreleased tracks. Release According to Jeremy Inkel, "Electric Dreams" and "Unconscious" are songs that were originally meant for the ''Artificial Soldier'' album, but left unfinished until after. Band leader Bill Leeb later expressed his dissatisfaction with the release, saying, "We weren't that happy with ''Fallout'' even though it was more of a friendship remix CD." Dismantled
Dismantled (born Gary Zon) is an electronic music artist from the United States. History Dismantled is the product of an experiment that began in late 2000 by Gary Zon, who was attempting to create something similar to Front Line Assembly's sound. After overwhelming positive feedback from online listeners, Gary began further sonic construction by drawing influences from television, movies, and music as well as adding vocals into the mix. The resulting sound was a unique blend of very melodic, yet complex mix of layered electro-industrial merged with intelligent dance music elements. This dark, brooding, futuristic ensemble yielded more and more positive feedback, while comparing it to Front Line Assembly, Haujobb, Wumpscut and Velvet Acid Christ.
