Adrian Virgil Pintea (; 9 October 1954 – 8 June 2007) was a Romanian actor. Career Pintea graduated from the Caragiale National University of Theatre and Film, Theatrical and Cinematographical Arts Institute in Bucharest. He appeared in the 2005 Romanian film ''Femeia visurilor'' directed by Dan Pița. Pintea made his last appearance in Francis Ford Coppola's 2007 film ''Youth Without Youth (film), Youth Without Youth''. He died on 8 June 2007 from complications from cirrhosis, pulmonary and kidney hypertension, and was buried at Bellu Cemetery in Bucharest. Beiuș
Beiuș (; hu, Belényes) is a city in Bihor County, Romania near the Apuseni Mountains. The river Crișul Negru flows through Beiuș, and the city administers a single village, Delani (''Gyalány''). John Hunyadi (, , , ; 1406 – 11 August 1456) was a leading Hungarian military and political figure in Central and Southeastern Europe during the 15th century. Mircea The Elder
Mircea the Elder ( ro, Mircea cel Bătrân, ; c. 1355 – 31 January 1418) was the Voivode of Wallachia from 1386 until his death in 1418. He was the son of Radu I of Wallachia and brother of Dan I of Wallachia, after whose death he inherited the throne. During the reign of Mircea the Elder, Wallachia controlled the largest area in its history, gaining Dobruja in 1388, the Banate of Severin in 1388/9 and Podunavia (which is suspected to be the Timok Valley). ''Mircea'' (AKA: ''Proud Heritage'') is a 1989 film about Mircea the Elder, the Christian king of Wallachia who repelled the attempts at conquest made by the Ottoman Empire in the late 14th century and early 15th century. The film also depicts a young Vlad the Impaler, Mircea's grandson, who would succeed him on the throne and continue his legacy of resistance against the Ottoman invasion. The screenplay was written by Titus Popovici and the film was directed by Sergiu Nicolaescu. In the film, the main character is named Mircea the Great, avoiding the wording Mircea the Elder in order not to be associated with the advanced age of Nicolae Ceaușescu (71 years old in 1989).
