Adrian Mullen
Adrian Mullen (born 30 March 1999) is an Irish hurler who plays for Kilkenny Senior Championship club Ballyhale Shamrocks and at inter-county level with the Kilkenny senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a right wing-forward. Playing career St. Kieran's College Mullen first came to prominence as a hurler with St. Kieran's College in Kilkenny. He played in every grade of hurling before eventually joining the college's senior hurling team. On 28 February 2015, he lined out in goal when St. Kieran's College defeated St Peter's College from Wexford by 1-14 to 1-06 to win the Leinster Championship. Mullen was again in goal when St. Kieran's College faced Thurles CBS in the All-Ireland final on 5 April 2015. He ended the game with a winners' medal following a 1-15 to 1-12 victory. Ballyhale
Ballyhale () is a village in the south east of Ireland. Located in the south of County Kilkenny, south of the city of Kilkenny and roughly halfway to Waterford city. The sport of hurling is popular in the area, and the local Gaelic Athletic Association team of Ballyhale Shamrocks are the most successful hurling club in All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship history. Local Kilkenny GAA hurler Henry Shefflin holds the record for the highest number of All Ireland Senior Hurling medals for a single player. The location is also close to the Mount Juliet golf course in nearby Thomastown. Templemore
Templemore () is a town in County Tipperary, Ireland. It is a civil parish in the historical barony of Eliogarty. It is part of the parish of Templemore, Clonmore and Killea in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly. The 2011 Census results show that the town's population decreased by 13.8% from 2,255 in 2006 to 1,943 in 2011. Location and access Templemore is the eighth largest town in County Tipperary. The 2019 Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship was the 125th staging of the Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Kilkenny County Board in 1887. The championship began on 21 September 2019 and ended on 27 October 2019. Ballyhale Shamrocks were the defending champions. On 27 October 2019, Ballyhale Shamrocks won the championship after a 2–21 to 1–15 defeat of James Stephens in the final at UPMC Nowlan Park. It was their 17th championship overall and their second title in succession. T. J. Reid from the Ballyhale Shamrocks club was the championship's top scorer with 1-34. James Stephens is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Kilkenny, Ireland. The club was founded in 1887 and has enjoyed equal success in both hurling and Gaelic football. History James Stephens was founded in 1887 as a hurling club. The club is named after James Stephens, founding member of the Irish Republican Brotherhood and took part in its first championship in 1888. The club was founded in the area of Patrick Street in Kilkenny city, an area locally known as 'the Village.' Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship
The Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the AIB Leinster GAA Hurling Senior Club Championship) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the champion senior clubs in the province of Leinster in Ireland. It is the most prestigious club competition in Leinster hurling. Introduced in 1971, it was initially a straight knockout tournament open to all 12 county senior champions from the 1970 championship season. The 2018 Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship was the 124th staging of the Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Kilkenny County Board in 1887. The championship began on 22 September 2018 and ended on 28 October 2018. Dicksboro were the defending champions, however, they were defeated by Ballyhale Shamrocks at the quarter-final stage. On 28 October 2018, Ballyhale Shamrocks won the championship after a 2–20 to 2–17 defeat of Bennettsbridge at Nowlan Park. The 2017 Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship was the 123rd staging of the Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Kilkenny County Board in 1887. The championship began on 16 September 2017 and ended 29 October 2017. O'Loughlin Gaels were the defending champions, however, they were defeated by Dicksboro in the semi-final. On 29 October 2017, Dicksboro won the championship following a 4-15 to 4-10 defeat of James Stephens in the final. This was their fifth championship title overall and their first since 1993.
