Adrian Healey
Adrian Healey is an English football commentator, currently working with MLS Season Pass broadcasts on Apple TV. He is a veteran football commentator in the U.S., working for networks such as ESPN; he was part of the ESPN commentary team in South Africa for the 2010 World Cup. He has also been a fill in host for Dan Thomas on ESPN's soccer show ESPN FC. Broadcasting career Healey started work in the US in 1992 as a mid day DJ for Boston's WFNX. He then got a TV job commentating for the New England Revolution, replacing the departing Derek Rae. He left the Revolution to join ESPN, where he started with play-by-play commentary with Robbie Mustoe on ESPN2's alternate broadcast of UEFA Champions League play. Healey served as a play-by-play announcer for NBC Sports' coverage of soccer at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Major League Soccer (MLS) is a men's professional soccer league sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation, which represents the sport's highest level in the United States. Soccer At The 2008 Summer Olympics
Football at the 2008 Summer Olympics was held in Beijing and several other cities in the People's Republic of China from 6 to 23 August. Associations affiliated with FIFA were invited to send their full women's national teams and men's U-23 teams to participate. Men's teams were allowed to augment their squad with three players over the age of 23. For these games, the men competed in a 16-team tournament, and the women in a 12-team tournament. Preliminary matches commenced two days before the Opening Ceremony of the Games on 8 August. Alejandro Enrique Moreno Riera (born July 8, 1979) is a Venezuelan former footballer who played as a forward, and who is currently a television commentator for ESPN FC, ESPN Deportes and ESPN Latin America. Moreno won three MLS Cups during his professional career. Moreno was chosen in 2021 to work as a commentator in the 2020 European Championship. Kasey C. Keller (born November 29, 1969) is an American former professional soccer player who played in Europe and the United States, as well as being the starting goalkeeper for the U.S. national team. Craig William Burley (born 24 September 1971) is a Scottish former professional footballer and sports television pundit and co-commentator for ESPN. As a player he was a midfielder from 1989 until 2004, notably playing in the Premier League for Chelsea and Derby County and in the Scottish Premier League for Celtic. Sixty-four teams participate in the competition, including all clubs from the Bundesliga and the 2. Bundesliga. ''MLS Game of the Week'' was the weekly presentation of Major League Soccer games on ESPN2. History Following the 2008 season, ESPN discontinued ''MLS Primetime Thursday'', citing lagging ratings and hoping to find better lead-in programming.
