Adrian Cruz
Adrian Cruz (born Adrian Alejandro Cruz; March 27, 1978) is an American screenwriter, producer and director. He is best known for creating '' Ascension'' TV mini-series and ''Splinter''. Biography Cruz attended the USC School of Cinematic Arts, majoring in film and theater, and ever since his graduation has been working as a writer, director and actor. From 2004 to 2006, he was writer for ''Seed'' comics series published by Les Humanoïdes Associés. Adrian Cruz is a founding member of ''The Calamity Theater'' and a long-time member of ''The Evidence Room'' and ''Bootleg Theater''. Jacqueline Wright is an English director of film, TV and music promos. Wright's short films include ''David the Great'', a comedic homage to magician David Blaine; ''Out of Water'', which was funded by the UK Film Council; and ''Stiffy'', a comedy with a necrophiliac theme which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2005 and was shortlisted for the BBC New Filmmaker's Award in 2006. Padua Playwrights Productions, or Padua, is a Los Angeles-based theater company founded in 1978 by playwright and poet Murray Mednick. The site-specific Workshop/Festival ceased operation in 1995 and reemerged in 2001 under the artistic direction of Guy Zimmerman. ''Ascension'' is a 2014 science fiction mystery drama television miniseries which aired on CBC in Canada and Syfy in the United States. It consisted of six 43 minute episodes, grouped into three chapters of two episodes each. The show was created by Philip Levens and Adrian A. Cruz. Comic Book
A comic book, also called comicbook, comic magazine or (in the United Kingdom and Ireland) simply comic, is a publication that consists of comics art in the form of sequential juxtaposed panels that represent individual scenes. Panels are often accompanied by descriptive prose and written narrative, usually, dialogue contained in word balloons emblematic of the comics art form. "Comic Cuts" was a British comic published from 1890 to 1953. It was preceded by "Ally Sloper's Half Holiday" (1884) which is notable for its use of sequential cartoons to unfold narrative.
