Adrian Breen (born 28 May 1992) is an Irish hurler who plays for Limerick Senior Championship club Na Piarsaigh and at inter-county level with the Limerick senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a right wing-forward. Limerick (city)
Limerick ( ; ga, Luimneach ) is a western city in Ireland situated within County Limerick. It is in the province of Munster and is located in the Mid-West which comprises part of the Southern Region. With a population of 94,192 at the 2016 census, Limerick is the third-most populous urban area in the state, and the fourth-most populous city on the island of Ireland at the 2011 census. 2011 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship
The 2011 Bord Gáis Energy GAA Hurling All-Ireland Under-21 Championship is the 48th staging of the All-Ireland Championship since its inception in 1964. Games were played between 1 June and 10 September 2011. Galway won the title after a 3–14 to 1–10 win against Dublin. The Championship Overview The All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship of 2010 will be run on a provincial basis as usual. It will be a knockout tournament with pairings drawn at random in the respective provinces - there will be no seeds. Each match will be played as a single leg. Munster Under-21 Hurling Championship
The Munster GAA Hurling Under-20 Championship, known simply as the Munster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Munster. The championship was contested as the Munster Under-21 Championship between 1964 and 2018 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2019. It is sponsored by Bord Gáis Energy. The final, currently held in July, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during a three-week period, and the results determine which team receives the J. J. Kenneally Perpetual Memorial Cup. The championship has always been played on a straight knockout basis whereby once a team loses they are eliminated from the championship. 2020 Munster Senior Hurling League
The 2020 Munster Senior Hurling League was the fifth staging of the Munster Senior Hurling League since its establishment by the Munster Council in 2016. The league began on 15 December 2019 and ended on 11 January 2020. Clare were the defending champions, however, they failed to make it out of the group stage. Munster Senior Hurling League
The Munster Senior Hurling League (known in some years as the Munster Hurling Cup) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 2016 for the top inter-county teams in the province of Munster in Ireland. The series of games are played during January. The Munster Senior Hurling League is effectively a pre-season tournament. It allows teams to blood new players and to experiment prior to the opening of the National Hurling League. 2019 was the first year that all six eligible teams participated in the Munster Senior Hurling League. Participation or non-participation can be decided on an annual basis. Cork are the current champions. 2020 National Hurling League
The 2020 National Hurling League was the 89th season of the National Hurling League for county teams. Division 1 was restructured in 2020 into two groups of approximately equal strength. The league was originally scheduled to end on 29 March 2020. The public health measures introduced to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in Ireland resulted in most of the final stages being delayed to October and the Division 1 final stage being reduced from five games to one. Eir Sport and RTÉ provide live TV coverage of the league on Saturday nights. TG4 broadcast Sunday afternoon games. The highlights programmes are RTÉ2's League Sunday on Sunday evenings, TG4's '' GAA 2020'' on Monday evenings and Eir Sport's Allianz Leagues Reloaded on Wednesday evenings. The 2020 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 133rd staging of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county hurling tournament, since its establishment in 1887. The 2020 Limerick Senior Hurling Championship was the 126th staging of the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Limerick County Board in 1887. The original championship draw took place on 16 December 2019, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic the draws for a rescheduled championship took place on 24 June 2020 with a new format being adopted. The championship began on 23 July 2020 and ended on 19 September 2020. Patrickswell were the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Na Piarsaigh at the semi-final stage. Murroe-Boher were relegated after suffering a 0–24 to 1–17 defeat by Garryspillane in a playoff. On 19 September 2020, Na Piarsaigh won the championship after a 5–27 to 1–12 victory over Doon in the final at the LIT Gaelic Grounds. The 2018 Limerick Senior Hurling Championship was the 124th staging of the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Limerick County Board in 1887. The group stage placings were confirmed on 21 November 2017. The championship began on 20 April 2018 and ended on 27 October 2018. Na Piarsaigh were the defending champions. On 27 October 2018, Na Piarsaigh won the title following a 2–22 to 3–10 defeat of Doon in the final at the Gaelic Grounds.
