Adolis García
José Adolis García Arrieta, nicknamed "El Bombi", (born March 2, 1993) is a Cuban professional baseball outfielder for the Texas Rangers (baseball), Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played in MLB for the St. Louis Cardinals and in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Yomiuri Giants. García was an Major League Baseball All-Star Game, MLB All-Star in 2021 and 2023. Memphis Redbirds
The Memphis Redbirds are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. They are located in Memphis, Tennessee, and are named for their Major League Baseball affiliate. The Redbirds play their home games at AutoZone Park, which opened in 2000 and is located in Downtown Memphis. The team previously played at Tim McCarver Stadium in 1998 and 1999. The Redbirds were established as an expansion team of the Triple-A Pacific Coast League (PCL) in 1998. The Rawlings Gold Glove Award, usually referred to as simply the Gold Glove, is the award given annually to the Major League Baseball (MLB) players judged to have exhibited superior individual fielding performances at each fielding position in both the National League (NL) and the American League (AL). Winners are determined from voting by the managers and coaches in each league, who are not permitted to vote for their own players. Additionally, a sabermetric component provided by the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) accounts for about 25 percent of the vote. In 1957, the baseball glove manufacturer Rawlings created the Gold Glove Award to commemorate the best fielding performance at each position. The Springfield Cardinals are a Minor League Baseball team based in Springfield, Missouri. They compete as a member of the Texas League's North Division. The Cardinals began play in 2005.
