Admiralty Inlet (Nunavut)
Admiralty Inlet is a bay in the Qikiqtaaluk Region of Nunavut, Canada. It extends southerly from Lancaster Sound along the western shore of Baffin Island's Borden Peninsula. The hamlet of Arctic Bay is located on Uluksan Peninsula, a landform that juts into Admiralty Inlet south of Sirmilik National Park. Several waterways extend from it, including Elwin Inlet, Baillarge Bay, Strathcona Sound, Victor Bay, Adams Sound, Levasseur Inlet, and Moffet Inlet, before it ends at Jungersen Bay. There are many islands within Admiralty Inlet including, Peter Richards Islands, Yeoman Island and Saneruarsuk Islands. Admiralty Inlet sustains a large population of narwhals. Qikiqtaaluk Region
The Qikiqtaaluk Region, Qikiqtani Region (Inuktitut syllabics: ᕿᑭᖅᑖᓗᒃ ) or Baffin Region is the easternmost, northernmost, and southernmost administrative region of Nunavut, Canada. Qikiqtaaluk is the traditional Inuktitut name for Baffin Island. Although the Qikiqtaaluk Region is the most commonly used name in official contexts, several notable public organizations, including Statistics Canada prefer the older term Baffin Region. With a population of 18,988 and an area of , it is the largest and most populated of the three regions. Baillarge Bay
Baillarge Bay is an Arctic waterway in the Qikiqtaaluk Region, Nunavut, Canada.
