Administaff Small Business Classic
The Insperity Invitational is a professional golf tournament in Texas on the PGA Tour Champions. It debuted in 2004 as the Administaff Small Business Classic, and is played in suburban Houston. The first four editions were at Augusta Pines Golf Club in Spring, then it was moved to The Woodlands Country Club in The Woodlands in 2008, the former home of the Houston Open on the PGA Tour. Played in October for its first eight years, it changed to early May in 2012. Insperity, previously known as Administaff, has been the event's main sponsor since its debut. The purse for 2018 is $2.2 million, with a winner's share of $330,000. Scott McCarron
Scott Michael McCarron (born July 10, 1965) is an American professional golfer who was formerly a member of the PGA Tour but now plays on the PGA Tour Champions. McCarron was born in Sacramento, California and graduated from Vintage High School in Napa, California. He was a member of the golf team at UCLA, graduating in 1988 with a major in History. Unlike most golfers, McCarron did not transition right away from the college to the professional ranks – he gave up golf for four years (1988–1992) to work with his father in the family golf apparel business. David Toms
David Wayne Toms (born January 4, 1967) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour Champions. From 1992 to 2017, Toms was a member of the PGA Tour, where he won 13 events, including one major, the 2001 PGA Championship. He was in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking for 175 weeks between 2001 and 2006, and ranked as high as fifth in 2002 and 2003. Tim Petrovic
Tim Petrovic (born August 16, 1966) is an American professional golfer. He won one PGA Tour event, and has finished runner-up in four senior major golf championships. Early life Petrovic was born in Northampton, Massachusetts. He played college golf for the Hartford Hawks, and was an NCAA Division I All-American selection in 1988. Petrovic was a teammate of future PGA Tour professional Jerry Kelly. He was inducted into University of Hartford's Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame in 1995. Michael Richard Weir, (born May 12, 1970) is a Canadian professional golfer. He currently plays on the PGA Tour Champions. He spent over 110 weeks in the top-10 of the Official World Golf Ranking between 2001 and 2005. 2020–21 PGA Tour Champions Season
The 2020–21 PGA Tour Champions season is the 41st in which PGA Tour Champions, a golf tour for men age 50 and over, has operated. The tour officially began in 1980 as the Senior PGA Tour. The season was severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, with half the scheduled tournaments being cancelled, including four of the five senior majors. As a result the only major played in 2020 was the Senior Players Championship, which was won by Jerry Kelly, who finished two strokes ahead Scott Parel to claim his first senior major title. Brandt Jobe
Brandt William Jobe (born August 1, 1965) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Champions Tour. He has also played on the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour and the Japan Golf Tour. Early life and amateur career Jobe was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He attended UCLA where he was a member of the 1988 NCAA Division I Men's Championship winning team. Professional career Jobe turned professional in 1988.
