Adler (band)
Adler was an American rock supergroup from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2011 by former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler. The band was formed following the dissolution of Adler's previous band, Adler's Appetite, and consisted of Adler along with current Lynam and former Mars Electric vocalist/guitarist Jacob Bunton, guitarist Lonny Paul (now also of Lynam), and L.A. Guns bassist Johnny Martin. History The band was formed in 2011 after the dissolution of Adler's previous band Adler's Appetite. ''Back from the Dead'' is the only studio album by Adler, released on November 26, 2012 on New Ocean Media. The album's release was preceded by the single "The One That You Hated", which was released on April 10, 2012 via iTunes. It is the first album that Steven Adler has been completely involved with after he left Guns N' Roses, (not including the two EPs that are only sold through certain internet websites during his previous time with the band Adler's Appetite) and the first full-length album he has played all drum tracks on since ''Appetite for Destruction''. Rush was a Canadian rock band formed in 1968 in Toronto, that was comprised primarily of Geddy Lee (bass, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar), and Neil Peart (drums, percussion, lyricist). The band formed in Toronto in 1968 by Lifeson, drummer John Rutsey, and bass guitarist/vocalist Jeff Jones, who was immediately replaced by Lee. Jeffrey Steven Pilson (born January 19, 1959) is an American musician best known for being the bass player in the glam metal band Dokken and currently classic rock band Foreigner. He has also had an extended stint with Dio in the 1990s. He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, cello, keyboards, piano and mellotron. Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Lynam is an American hard rock band from Birmingham, Alabama, United States. History Formed in Birmingham, Alabama in 2001 after the breakup of Jacob Bunton's major-label band Mars Electric, Lynam is often aligned with the retro metal movement of the mid-2000s generation. Led by frontman and principal songwriter Jacob Bunton, the band is heavily influenced by Def Leppard and has drawn comparisons to Wolfmother. From 2002 to 2004, the band self-released three albums; "White Trash Superstar"; "Bling! Bling!" and "Life in Reverse".
