Adelino Teixeira (footballer)
Adelino José de Jesus Teixeira (born 4 June 1952) is a Portuguese retired footballer who played mainly as a left back or a defensive midfielder. Club career Over the course of 16 seasons Teixeira appeared in 322 Primeira Liga games, mainly in representation of FC Porto (nine years), with which he won two consecutive national championships – contributing with 39 matches combined – and one domestic cup. In the 90s/2000s Teixeira coached several clubs, his biggest achievement being leading S.C. Espinho to the third position in the second division in 1995–96, with the subsequent promotion. Oliveira de Azeméis () is a city and a municipality located in Porto Metropolitan Area in Portugal. Administratively, the municipality belongs to the District of Aveiro. The population of the municipality in 2011 was 68,611, in an area of 161.10 km2. The city itself has a population of about 20,000. Oliveira de Azeméis is located 35 km to the south of Porto. The Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira (; English: Cândido de Oliveira Super Cup, or simply Portuguese Super Cup) is an annual Portuguese football match played since 1979 between the winners of the Portuguese League (Primeira Liga) and Portuguese Cup (Taça de Portugal). When a team wins both competitions (thus achieving the double (''dobradinha'')), it plays again against the Cup runners-up.
