Omoba Adegboyega Folaranmi Adedoyin, M.D. (11 September 1922 – January 2014) was a Nigerian-born British high jumper and long jumper, who became the first Nigerian to compete in an Olympics final in 1948. Olufunke Adedoyin (14 June 1962 – 28 September 2018) was a Nigerian politician and lawmaker representing Irepodun/Oke-Ero/Isin/Ekiti Federal Constituency of Kwara State at the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja. She joined the National Assembly under the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC). She was however among some APC lawmakers who defected to the Peoples Democratic Party in 2018. HRM Oba William Christopher Adedoyin (died 1952) was a Nigerian Traditional ruler who held the title of Akarigbo of Remo Kingdom from 1916 to 1952. The Akarigbo's seat was in Sagamu, part of Remo Kingdom, a Yoruba plural society consisting of over 44 Towns. Early life Adedoyin was born in the late 1870s to the Anoko royal family of Ofin, Sagamu.
