Adam Clifford Smith (born 23 November 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for side Morecambe. Career Early career Born in Sunderland, Smith joined Leicester City from Middlesbrough in 2010. Early loan moves On 16 September 2011 he was loaned to Chesterfield, but was only a backup to Greg Fleming during his spell. In early January 2012 Smith joined Conference Premier club Lincoln City on loan, again as cover, until the end of the season. On 25 October 2012, Smith signed for another Conference side in Nuneaton Town, on an initial one-month loan. Smith made his senior debut on 27 October in a 1–1 draw with Barrow, and went on to appear in seven games for the club. Greg William Edward Fleming (born 27 September 1986) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Annan Athletic. Benjamin John Hamer (; born 20 November 1987) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Championship side Watford. Career Early career Hamer was born in Chard, Somerset, and is a Bristol City fan. His family moved to Germany at the age of 3 and, consequently, he is a fluent German speaker. Kasper Peter Schmeichel (born 5 November 1986) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Nice and the Denmark national team. Schmeichel began his career with Manchester City, but had loan spells with Darlington, Bury and Falkirk before he made his first-team debut. Although Schmeichel appeared to have made the City number 1 shirt his own at the start of the 2007–08 season, the emergence of Joe Hart resulted in Schmeichel being loaned to Cardiff City. 2014 Conference Premier Play-off Final
The 2014 Conference Premier play-off Final, known as the 2014 Skrill Premier play-off Final for sponsorship reasons, was a football match between Cambridge United and Gateshead on 18 May 2014 at Wembley Stadium in London. It was the twelfth Conference Premier play-off Final. Cambridge secured a place in the final after beating F.C. Halifax Town 2–1 on aggregate. Gateshead's place was secured after beating Grimsby Town 4–2 over two legs. This was Cambridge United's 3rd Conference play-off final after losing in 2008 and 2009 and Gateshead's first ever Conference play-off final and their first ever visit to Wembley Stadium. The Football League
The English Football League (EFL) is a league of professional football clubs from England and Wales. Founded in 1888 as the Football League, the league is the oldest such competition in the world. The 2013–14 Football Conference season is the tenth season with the Conference consisting of three divisions and the thirty-fourth season overall. The Conference covers the top two levels of Non-League football in England. Gateshead () is a large town in northern England. It is on the River Tyne's southern bank, opposite Newcastle to which it is joined by seven bridges.
