Adam Shimmons
Adam Mark Shimmons (born 16 October 1972) is an English cricketer. Shimmons is a left-handed batsman who bowls right-arm fast-medium. He was born in Hillingdon, Middlesex and educated at Idsall Grammar School in Shifnal, Shropshire.Published under Association of Cricket Statisticians and Historians. Shimmons made his debut for Shropshire in the 1996 Minor Counties Championship against Dorset. Shimmons has played Minor counties cricket for Shropshire from 1996 to present, which has included 46 Minor Counties Championship appearances and 30 MCCA Knockout Trophy appearances, while playing at club level for Shifnal and Oulton Park. He made his List A debut against Sussex in the 1997 NatWest Trophy. He made 10 further List A appearances, the last of which came against Warwickshire in the 2004 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy. Hillingdon
Hillingdon is an area of Uxbridge within the London Borough of Hillingdon, centred 14.2 miles (22.8 km) west of Charing Cross. It was an ancient parish in Middlesex that included the market town of Uxbridge. During the 1920s the civil parish bore a rapid, planned increase in population and housing, and was absorbed by Uxbridge Urban District in 1929. It has formed part of Greater London since 1965. Sussex County Cricket Club is the oldest of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Sussex. Its limited overs team is called the Sussex Sharks. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps.
