Adam Richards
Adam Richards is a drifting driver from New Plymouth, New Zealand. He has been drifting competitively since 2003 and was crowned the 2005 D1NZ champion driving a modified Nissan Cefiro. He has competed in the D1 World All Stars Drift Championship in 2006 and 2007. Cars Nissan Cefiro A31 Adam started in the D1NZ series using a modified Nissan Cefiro with camouflage coloured paint by Steven Sole Customs. Not Stickers. He swapped the standard engine with a RB26DET from a Nissan Skyline GT-R to increase the power output. This helped him to get a spot on the podium in four out of the six rounds of 2005. Adam stopped using this car competitively after the first round of D1NZ 2006, making way for a sponsored Nissan Silvia. European Drift Championship
The European Drift Championship (EDC) was an annual drifting series held in the United Kingdom from 2007–2012. The series was previously known as D1 Great Britain (D1GB) in 2006 and D1UK from 2002–2005, but event organizers disassociated from the D1 Grand Prix in 2007. D1UK was also known as the Autoglym Drift Championship due to sponsorship by Autoglym. In 2008, EDC introduced the British Drift Championship (BDC) as a feeder series, but the BDC broke off to form its own annual professional series just a year later and, as of 2020, is now aligned with Formula D. In 2010 the championship organisers made the controversial move to change from a Top 16 to a Top 8 invitational format. Nissan Skyline GT-R
The is a sports car based on the Nissan Skyline range. The first cars named "Skyline GT-R" were produced between 1969 and 1972 under the model code KPGC10, and were successful in Japanese touring car racing events. This model was followed by a brief production run of second-generation cars, under model code KPGC110, in 1973. After a 16-year hiatus, the GT-R name was revived in 1989 as the BNR32 ("R32") Skyline GT-R. Group A specification versions of the R32 GT-R were used to win the Japanese Touring Car Championship for four years in a row. The R32 GT-R also had success in the Australian Touring Car Championship, with Jim Richards using it to win the championship in 1991 and Mark Skaife doing the same in 1992, until a regulation change excluded the GT-R in 1993. Camouflage is the use of any combination of materials, coloration, or illumination for concealment, either by making animals or objects hard to see, or by disguising them as something else. D1NZ is a production car Drifting (motorsport), drifting series in New Zealand, a sanctioned championship under Motorsport New Zealand, the official FIA appointed governing body of motor-racing in New Zealand. It began early in 2003 as a small competition consisting of several drifting teams from all over the country in order to organise and regulate Drifting events in the country. Since then it has continued to grow larger and more professional, now involving professional teams and internationally ranked drivers. The series consists of two national title competitions, the D1NZ Pro Championship and the D1NZ Pro-Sport Series. New competitors generally need to prove themselves in the Pro-Sport Series before progressing into the pro class, unless competing with an equivalent international licence. After several years of hosting amateur drifting contests, Daijiro Inada, founder of ''Option (car magazine), Option'' magazine and Tokyo Auto Salon, and drifting legend, Keiichi Tsuchiya hosted a professional level drifting contest in 1999 and 2000 to feed on the ever increasing skills of drifting drivers who were dominating drifting contests in various parts of Japan.
