Adam Marcon
Adam Marcon (born 28 July 1992) is a semi-professional Australian rules footballer who plays for the Aberfeldie Football Club in the EDFL. Junior and state-league football A midfielder, Marcon played under-18s football TAC Cup football for the Northern Knights. Once at senior age, Marcon joined the Northern Bullants in the Victorian Football League, the club where his father Adrian had been a popular dual-premiership player in the 1980s. Marcon played three seasons for the Northern Bullants (or Blues, as they became known from 2012) from 2011 until 2013, and won the Laurie Hill Trophy as club best-and-fairest in 2012. He then transferred to Williamstown where he played the next two seasons. In 2015, he won the Fothergill-Round Medal as the best young player in the VFL, and was part of Williamstown's premiership team. Victorian Football League
The Victorian Football League (VFL) is an Australian rules football league in Australia serving as one of the second-tier regional semi-professional competitions which sit underneath the fully professional Australian Football League (AFL). It includes teams from clubs based in the eastern states of Australia: Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, and includes reserves teams for the east coast AFL clubs. The Williamstown Football Club, nicknamed The Seagulls, is an Australian rules football club based in Melbourne. The club currently competes in the men's and women's Victorian Football League and VFLW competitions. The Australian Football League (AFL) is the only fully professional competition of Australian rules football. Through the AFL Commission, the AFL also serves as the sport's governing body and is responsible for controlling the laws of the game. Northern Blues
The Preston Football Club, which trades and plays as the Northern Bullants, is a long-established Australian rules football club based in Preston that plays in the Victorian Football League (VFL). It plays its home games at the Preston City Oval. The club was established in 1882 as the Preston Football Club. The club participated in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) between 1903 and 1911, and then since 1926. After World War II, the club was known as the Bullants, and wore a plain red guernsey with a white monogram. The club later became the Northern Bullants.
