George "Adam" Klein IV (born November 29, 1988) is an American swimmer. At the 2009 US National Championships and World Championship Trials, Klein placed second to Eric Shanteau in the 200m breaststroke with a time of 2:10.39, earning a place to compete at the 2009 World Aquatics Championships in Rome. In Rome, Klein was disqualified from the 200m breaststroke preliminaries. Klein also competed in the 50m breaststroke and placed 50th (out of 148 swimmers in the event). Klein attended Auburn University and trained under head coach Brett Hawke. Adam Charles Josef Klein (born January 22, 1960) is an American opera singer who has sung leading tenor roles with many North American opera companies including, the Metropolitan Opera, Seattle Opera, Edmonton Opera, and New York City Opera. Biography Klein was born in Port Jefferson, New York, the son of pianist Howard Klein, a music critic at ''The New York Times'' in the 1960s, and Director for Arts at the Rockefeller Foundation in the 1970s and 1980s and Patricia Windrow, a realist painter. Adam Klein (born 1962) is an American writer and musician. He currently divides his time between New York, San Francisco, and India. Early years Klein was born in 1962 in Coral Gables, Florida. He left high school in Miami with a GED and attended Miami Dade Community College, where he studied fashion and poetry. He spent one year as an undergraduate at the University of Iowa, studying poetry with Marvin Bell. He then left school to live briefly in Chicago and Boston. With friends from work in Boston, he started the first incarnation of the band The Size Queens. Eventually, he moved to San Francisco, where he spent many years in the 1980s as a performer in the local club scene. Adam Scott Klein (born January 15, 1991) is a keynote speaker and former homeless shelter manager best known for competing on the American reality show '' Survivor''. He was voted the winner of the show's 33rd season, '' Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X'' in 2016. He returned for the show's 40th season '' Survivor: Winners at War'', where he finished in 12th place. Early life Klein grew up in Burlingame, California, along with his parents Alan and Susie and his brother Evan. He graduated from The Nueva School in 2005 and Burlingame High School in 2009. Adam Daniel Kline (born October 27, 1944) is an American politician who was the Washington State Senate, State Senator for Washington (U.S. state), Washington's 37th district, comprising part of South Seattle, six precincts in Renton, Washington, Renton and two in Tukwila, Washington, Tukwila. He served the 37th District for more than 17 years. He chaired the Senate Judiciary Committee and was a member of the Government Operations and Elections Committee and the Rules Committee. Before entering law school, Kline worked as a merchant seaman and as a newspaper reporter. He is a veteran of the Civil Rights Movement.
