Adam Kerinaiua
Adam Kerinaiua (born 17 June 1974) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with the Brisbane Bears in the Australian Football League (AFL). Kerinaiua, a Tiwi Islander, was recruited from North Darwin in the Northern Territory Football League (NTFL). He played three of the final four rounds of the 1992 AFL season, aged just 18. In all three games he didn't find much of the ball but kicked a goal against Geelong. Palmerston Football Club
The Palmerston Football Club, nicknamed, Magpies, is an Australian rules football club, currently playing in the Northern Territory Football League. They were first called Internationals before entering the NTFL, then they were called North Darwin from the 1972/73 to 1995/96 season. Club achievements History The Palmerston Magpies Football Club began in 1970 and was originally known as the Internationals. At that time most players were English and Greek soccer players. John O'Donoghue and Paul Fricker got the started with John doing the ground work while Paul represented the club at NTFL meetings. 1994 AFL Season
The 1994 AFL season was the 98th season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The season featured fifteen clubs, ran from 26 March until 1 October, and comprised a 22-game home-and-away season followed by a finals series featuring the top eight clubs – an increase from the six clubs which had contested the finals in previous years. The Indigenous All-Stars (known as for sponsorship reasons Qantas Kickstart Indigenous All-Stars and formerly known as the Aboriginal All-Stars) is an Australian rules football team composed of players that identify as Indigenous Australian or with an indigenous culture. The team has also represented Australia (in 2013) in the International Rules Series. The junior (U18 and U16) side is known as the Flying Boomerangs.
