Adam Forsythe
Adam Forsythe is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera, ''Emmerdale''. He was played by Richard Shelton. Casting Shelton's casting was announced in April 2005. Adam was introduced as the village's new doctor and a love interest for Steph Stokes (Lorraine Chase). Shelton said "I'm delighted to be joining 'Emmerdale' and have been a fan of the show for many years". Kathleen Beedles is a British producer, who has worked on a total of over 2500 episodes of various British soap operas to date. She grew up in Rogart and now resides in London. Daz Eden is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Emmerdale'', played by Luke Tittensor. He made his first appearance in the show on 9 October 2003. Six years into his tenure on the soap, it was announced that Tittensor had been released from ''Emmerdale'' due to a conviction of grievous bodily harm. Following a meeting with the show's bosses, the decision was taken to terminate Tittensor's contract due to the serious nature of the charge and to allow him to focus on the court case. Richard Thorp
Richard Stanley Thorp (2 January 1932 – 22 May 2013) was an English actor. He was best known for his 30-year tenure portraying Alan Turner in the ITV (TV network), ITV soap opera ''Emmerdale'' from 1982 to 2013. He also appeared in films such as ''The Dam Busters (film), The Dam Busters'' (1955) and ''The Barretts of Wimpole Street (1957 film), The Barretts of Wimpole Street'' (1957). Early life Thorp was born in Purley, London, Purley, Surrey. Whilst showing early ambitions to act he started working in the shoe business, Lilley & Skinner, where his father was one of several directors. Alan Turner (Emmerdale)
Alan Turner is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera, ''Emmerdale'', played by Richard Thorp. He debuted on-screen on 23 March 1982. Thorp died on 22 May 2013 and the last scenes that Thorp filmed as Alan were aired on 4 June 2013 in a special hour-long episode dedicated to him. It was announced on 12 September 2013 that Alan would be killed off-screen in late October with his daughter Steph (Lorraine Chase) returning for his funeral. Nick Brimble
Nicholas Brimble (born 22 July 1944) is an English actor whose long career has spanned theatre, television, film, and voice work. Early life Brimble was born in Bristol. His father was a schoolteacher who was also a keen amateur actor, an activity in which Nick was involved on occasions as a child. For several summers his father also managed a French/Czech high-wire act, the White Devils, and in July 1961 organised their blindfolded high-wire crossing of Cheddar Gorge.
