Adam Docker (born 24 January 1991) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer. He played for the Penrith Panthers in the National Rugby League as a and . Background Born in Shellharbour, New South Wales, Docker played his junior rugby league for the Shellharbour Sharks, before being signed by the St. George Illawarra Dragons. Playing career Early career In 2010 and 2011, Docker played for the St. George Illawarra Dragons' NYC team, scoring 2 tries in 14 games. 2012 In 2012, Docker joined the Penrith Panthers, playing with their New South Wales Cup team, Windsor Wolves, for most of the year. Shellharbour (also known as Shellharbour Village) is a suburb located in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia. It also gives its name to the local government area, City of Shellharbour, and its central business district, Shellharbour City Centre. City Vs Country Origin
City vs Country Origin was an annual Australian rugby league football match that took place in New South Wales between City and Country representative sides. The City side represented the Sydney metropolitan area. While technically it was Sydney vs. the rest of NSW, players from the Central Coast (such as Matt Orford and Mark O'Meley) often represented City, but other players from the Central Coast (such as Chris Heighington) represented Country. The Country side represented the rest of New South Wales. The concept of an annual clash between a City and Country team originally started in 1911 with a Metropolitan side taking on the Country team. The first match officially took place on 10 June 1911 with City taking the victory 29 to 8. The 2014 Rugby League Four Nations tournament was the fourth staging of the Rugby League Four Nations tournament played in Australia and New Zealand over three weeks from Saturday, 25 October to Saturday, 15 November 2014.
