Adam Bizanski
Adam Bizanski ( he, אדם ביזנסקי; born January 29, 1983) is a writer, director and animator. Career Hailing from a self-taught animation background, he is best known for his award-winning music video collaborations with bands such as the Shins, Wolf Parade, and Zero 7. On May 9, 2005, Bizanski's animated video for The Shins "Pink Bullets", depicting a love story between two soulful paper-made cows, was amongst the first five videos chosen to demonstrate iTunes music store's new capability to sell videos. He had won the best animated music video award for three consecutive years at ASIF (ASIFA's Israel branch), for his videos for Yoni Bloch, the Shins, and Zero 7. In 2006 Bizanski's video for Wolf Parade had won "best animated music video" at the Antville 06 MVA's, and rose to being #1 on ifilm.com's Top 100 videos. The Shins
The Shins is an American indie rock band formed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1996. The band is the project of singer-songwriter James Mercer, who has served as the band's sole constant member throughout numerous line-up changes. The band's current line-up consists of Mercer, alongside Yuuki Matthews (bass, keyboards), Mark Watrous (guitar, keyboards, lap steel), Patti King (keyboards), and Jon Sortland (drums). They are based in Portland, Oregon. The band was formed by Mercer as a side project to Flake Music, who were active from 1992 to 1999. The Black Keys
The Black Keys are an American rock duo formed in Akron, Ohio, in 2001. The group consists of Dan Auerbach (guitar, vocals) and Patrick Carney (drums). The duo began as an independent act, recording music in basements and self-producing their records, before they eventually emerged as one of the most popular garage rock artists during a second wave of the genre's revival in the 2000s. Arthur & Yu are an American indie folk band from Seattle, Washington, United States. Their sound has been compared to that of various 1960s bands, as well as an aesthetic appeal of John Lennon/Yoko Ono. The duo's title has its roots from childhood nicknames, 'Arthur' and 'Yu', for Olsen and Westcott, respectively. They have been touring across the U.S. in promotion of their debut, '' In Camera''. They were also featured on Dntel's album, Dumb Luck. History Olsen stumbled upon Westcott, who had a stint as the bassist for Rogue Wave, through a Craigslist ad, and they were both intrigued at each other's influences. Rona (Aharona) Rachel Kenan ( he, רונה קינן, born 26 July 1979) is an Israeli singer-songwriter. Biography Kenan was born on 26 July 1979. Her father is the late Amos Kenan and her mother is the scholar Nurith Gertz. She was attracted to music at a young age and learned to play the guitar. José Gabriel González (born 31 July 1978) is a Swedish indie folk singer-songwriter and guitarist from Gothenburg. González is also a member of the band Junip, along with Tobias Winterkorn. Early life and education The González family – made up of González's father, a National University of San Luis psychology student, González's mother, a fellow student studying biochemistry, both of whom were politically active, and González's older sister, then an infant – fled Argentina after the military coup d'état in March 1976, at the start of the "Dirty War".
