Acy-Romance
Acy-Romance () is a commune in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region of northern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Romanciers'' or ''Romancières''. The commune has been awarded two flowers by the ''National Council of Towns and Villages in Bloom'' in the ''Competition of cities and villages in Bloom''. Geography Acy-Romance is located some 8 km south east of Château-Porcien and some 40 km north-east of Reims on the E46 Highway (N51). Route nationale N51 forms the south-eastern border of the commune passing through the northern part of the commune as it circles around the city of Rethel which is immediately north-east of Acy-Romance. To reach the town of Acy-Romance it is necessary to exit the N51 highway onto road D30 which passes through the town and exits from the western border of the commune towards Château-Porcien. Barby () is a commune in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region of northern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Barbyons'' or ''Barbyonnes''. The commune has been awarded three flowers by the ''National Council of Towns and Villages in Bloom'' in the ''Competition of cities and villages in Bloom''. Geography Barby is located immediately north-west of Rethel and immediately south-east of Château-Porcien. Access to the commune is by the D926 road from Rethel which passes through the heart of the commune and the village before continuing north-west to Château-Porcien. The D946 from Rethel passes through the north of the commune as it goes north-west to Seraincourt. The commune is entirely farmland. Avançon () is a commune in the Ardennes département in the Grand Est region of northern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Avançonnais'' or ''Avançonnaises''. Geography Avançon is located some 10 km south-west of Rethel and 11 km east of Asfeld. Access to the commune is by the D18 road from Acy-Romance in the north-east which passes through the commune to the village near the centre then continues west to Blanzy-la-Salonnaise. The D26 road goes from the village north to Taizy. The D150 goes south-west from the village to Saint-Loup-en-Champagne. The commune is entirely farmland.
