''Actor in Law'' is a 2016 Pakistani socio-comedy film directed by Nabeel Qureshi, co-written and produced by Fizza Ali Meerza along with Mehdi Ali. The film was released on Eid-ul-Adha 2016. by Urdu 1 Pictures. The film stars Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat in lead roles. It also stars veteran Indian actor Om Puri in his first Pakistani film, who died on 6 January 2017 suffering Cardiac arrest. Nabeel Qureshi (director)
Nabeel Qureshi ( ur, ; born 1985) is a Pakistani film director, screenwriter and occasional singer best known for making movies that tackle socio economic issues. His debut feature film, ''Na Maloom Afraad'' (2014), where he won an award for best film director was followed by ''Actor in Law'' (2016), for which he again won an award for best director. Early life Qureshi was born in 1985 in Sukkur, Sindh and moved to Karachi in 2004. Talat Hussain Warsi, is a Pakistani actor. He is the son of Altaf Hussain Warsi and Shaista Begum who was one of the pioneering voices of Radio Pakistan, Karachi.
