Bob Stewart (television Producer)
Bob Stewart (born Isidore L. Steinberg; August 27, 1920 – May 4, 2012) was an American television game show producer. He was active in the TV industry from 1956 until his retirement in 1991. Stewart is known for creating some of the most popular game shows for Mark Goodson-Bill Todman Productions. These shows include ''To Tell the Truth'', ''Password (American game show), Password'', and ''The Price Is Right (U.S. game show), The Price Is Right.'' His biggest success as an independent producer was the ''Pyramid (game show), Pyramid'' series, starting with ''The $10,000 Pyramid'' in 1973. Noovo is a Canadian French-language terrestrial television network owned by the Bell Media subsidiary of BCE Inc. The network has five owned-and-operated and three affiliated stations throughout Quebec, although it can also be seen over-the-air in some bordering markets in the provinces of Ontario and New Brunswick. The Global Television Network (more commonly called Global, or occasionally Global TV) is a Canadian English-language terrestrial television network. It is currently Canada's second most-watched private terrestrial television network after CTV, and has fifteen owned-and-operated stations throughout the country. Pierre Lalonde
Pierre Lalonde (January 20, 1941 – June 21, 2016) was a Canadian singer and television host. The son of Jean Lalonde, a popular singer in the 1940s, Lalonde attended high school in the United States but returned to Canada in 1960, where he worked at radio station CKJL with his father in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec. Shortly after, he worked in Montreal at CJMS. In 1961, Lalonde moved to television station CFTM-TV to host a variety of programs, including the popular show ''Jeunesse d'aujourd'hui'' (''Today's Youth''). The following year he released his first single and made his first LP in 1963. Lalonde mainly recorded in French, but he released a number of singles in English as well. Lalonde's success led to his own program, ''The Peter Martin Show'', on WPIX in New York from 1967 to 1968. He also recorded one album, ''Introducing Peter Martin'', under this name. ''Chain Reaction'' is an American television game show created by Bob Stewart, in which players compete to form chains composed of two-word phrases. The show has aired five separate runs: Bill Cullen hosted the original series on NBC from January 14, 1980, to June 20, 1980. The second version aired on the USA Network from September 29, 1986, to December 27, 1991, and was hosted first by Blake Emmons and later by Geoff Edwards (who also subbed for Cullen for two weeks on the NBC version).
