Ian Munro (director)
Ian Alexander Munro (born 1957/1958) is an Australian film and television director and producer. His career has spanned a variety of genres including telemovies, documentaries and children’s programs. Munro has also directed various performances for the stage. He was the first staff elected representative on the Board of Film Australia. Training Munro studied at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School where his final year film 'Life Begins at 40' won the Sammy Award for best TV Documentary. He graduated in 1980. Angie Milliken is an Australian actress. Life Milliken was born and raised in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology then turned to acting. Milliken first became noticed when she starred in the 1991 made-for-TV movie '' Act of Necessity'' for which she was nominated for an Australian Film Institute (AFI) Award. Film Australia was a company established by the Government of Australia to produce films about Australia in 1973. Its predecessors were the Cinema and Photographic Branch (1913–38), the Australian National Film Board (1939–1955, under different departments), and the Commonwealth Film Unit (1956–72).
