''Act of Betrayal'' is a 1988 mini-series that was a co-production between Ireland, Australia and the US. Bryan Marshall (19 May 1938 – 25 June 2019) was a British actor, with a number of major credits in film and television to his name, in both his native country and Australia. Early life Marshall was born in Battersea, south London. He was educated at the Salesian College, Battersea, and trained as an actor at RADA, before appearing at the Bristol Old Vic and in repertory theatre and in the 1986 first national tour of ''The Sound of Music'' as Captain von Trapp. Film Marshall's best-remembered film role is that of Councillor Harris in ''The Long Good Friday'' (1980). Sandra Levy is an Australian film and television producer who has worked in both public and commercial television. Early life and family Levy was born in Sydney. Her parents were Jewish communists from whom she inherited a love of the arts and a capacity for intellectual jousting. She married her second husband Australian television director Michael Carson in the 1970s. They had one son together, Simon, but the couple later divorced. Nicholas Benbow Evans (26 July 1950 – 9 August 2022) was a British journalist, screenwriter, television and film producer and novelist. Biography Nicholas Benbow Evans was born in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, son of Anthony Evans, director of a motor engineering company, and Eileen, née Whitehouse. He was educated at Bromsgrove School, where he was head boy. He has appeared in many Australian films and television series but is best known for his role in the film ''Spider and Rose'' and the television series ''The Flying Doctors'', ''Secret Valley'' and ''Love My Way''.
