''Across the Cemetery'' (russian: Через кладбище) is a 1964 Soviet drama film directed by Viktor Turov. Plot The film takes place in the autumn of 1942. The Nazis approached Stalingrad. They are opposed by Belarusian partisans who were left without shells, as a result of which they decided to send a young guy named Mikhas along with Sazon Ivanovich to a mechanic. They successfully reached the point where the shells were hidden and suddenly they saw the Germans... Pavel Filippovich Nilin (; 17 January 1908 – 2 October 1981) was a Soviet and Russian writer, screenwriter, journalist and playwright, best known for his novel ''A Man Goes Uphill'' (1936), adapted to the big screen under the title ''A Great Life'', for which he, as a scriptwriter, received the Stalin Prize in 1941. Prince Andrei Mikhaylovich Volkonsky (also ''Andrey, André, Mikhailovich, Michailovich, Volkonski, Volkonskiy'') (russian: Андрей Михайлович Волконский; 14 February 1933 – 16 September 2008) was a Russian composer of classical music and harpsichordist.
