Acrobati (album)
''Acrobati'' is the eighth studio album by Italian singer-songwriter Daniele Silvestri, released February 26, 2016 by Sony Music. The album debuted at the top of the FIMI Albums Chart, the first in the singer's career to reach this position. Furthermore, on 4 July 2016, a gold record is certified for the 25,000 copies sold. The record was made in Lecce at Roy Paci's Posada Negro studio and was described by Silvestri as a record intended to "tell stories that would take the listener as far as possible", thus as a work "more poetic than political". Several artists took part in the recordings, including Caparezza (in La guerra del sale), Diodato and Roberto Dell'Era. The album cover was designed by Paolino De Francesco. Daniele Silvestri
Daniele Silvestri (born 18 August 1968) is an Italian singer-songwriter and musician. Career Silvestri debuted in 1994, releasing his eponymous album. The set received a Targa Tenco for Best Debut Album. In 1995, he competed in the Newcomers' Section of the Sanremo Music Festival with the song "L'uomo col megafono". The track was included in his second studio album, ''Prima di essere uomo'', whose second single, "Le cose che abbiamo in comune", became a radio hit in 1995 and received the Targa Tenco for Song of the Year. In 1996 Silvestri released a double studio album, ''Il dado''. His following studio set, ''Sig. Dapatas'', was released in 1999, after Silvestri's appearance as a contestant of the Big Artists section in the Sanremo Music Festival with the track "Aria", which received the Mia Martini Critics' Award. The Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana (FIMI) is an umbrella organization that keeps track of virtually all aspects of the music recording industry in Italy. It was established in 1992, when major corporate labels left the previously existing Associazione dei Fonografici Italiani (AFI). During the following years, most of the remaining Italian record labels left AFI to join the new organisation. As of 2011, FIMI represents 2,500 companies operating in the music business. FIMI is a member of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry and of the Italian employers' federation, Confindustria. Roy Paci
Rosario (Roy) Paci (born September 16, 1969 in Augusta) is an Italian trumpeter, singer, composer and arranger. Music and career Born in Sicily, Paci started playing the piano as a young child and picked up the trumpet at age 10. By 13, he was playing with traditional Sicilian jazz and performing in some of Italy's most famous clubs. Paci moved to South America in 1990 where he traveled to play cumbia and popular music in Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil. Caparezza ( or ; meaning "Curly Head" in the Molfetta dialect) is the pseudonym of Michele Salvemini (born 9 October 1973), an Italian rapper. Born in Molfetta, in the southern region of Apulia, Caparezza debuted in 1997 at the Sanremo Festival under the name Mikimix. Biography Caparezza was born in Molfetta on October 9, 1973. Antonio Diodato (born 30 August 1981), known simply as Diodato, is an Italian singer-songwriter. He won the 70th edition of the Sanremo Music Festival with the song "Fai rumore" and was scheduled to represent Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, before the event's cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
