Acmispon Denticulatus
''Acmispon denticulatus'' (previously ''Lotus denticulatus'') is a species of Faboideae, legume known by the common name riverbar bird's-foot trefoil. It is native to western North America from British Columbia to California to Utah, where it grows in moist spots in a number of habitat types. It is an annual herb growing erect or spreading to about 40 cm in maximum length. It is lined with leaves each made up of a few alternately arranged oval leaflets 1 to 2 cm long, sometimes slightly hairy in texture. The Faboideae are a subfamily of the flowering plant family Fabaceae or Leguminosae. An acceptable alternative name for the subfamily is Papilionoideae, or Papilionaceae when this group of plants is treated as a family. This subfamily is widely distributed, and members are adapted to a wide variety of environments. Faboideae may be trees, shrubs, or herbaceous plants. Inflorescence
An inflorescence is a group or cluster of flowers arranged on a stem that is composed of a main branch or a complicated arrangement of branches. Morphologically, it is the modified part of the shoot of seed plants where flowers are formed on the axis of a plant.
