Friedrich Achleitner
Friedrich Achleitner (23 May 1930 – 27 March 2019) was an Austrian poet and architecture critic. As a member of the Wiener Gruppe, he wrote concrete poems and experimental literature. His magnum opus is a multi-volume documentation of 20th-century Austrian architecture. Written over several decades, Achleitner made a personal visit to each building described. He was a professor of the history and theory of architecture at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Life and career Achleitner was born in Schalchen, Upper Austria, the son of a farmer. He attended the Höhere Bundesgewerbeschule in Salzburg, and then studied architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna from 1950 to 1953 with Clemens Holzmeister. Paul Achleitner
Paul M. Achleitner (born 28 September 1956, in Linz) is an Austrian businessman who served as chairman of the supervisory board of Deutsche Bank from 2012 to 2022. Education Achleitner studied Business Administration, Economics, Law and Social Sciences at the University of St. Gallen, where he also earned his doctorate. He was also a visiting fellowship at Harvard Business School from 1982 to 1984. Career Early career Achleitner worked for Bain and Company and as the managing director of the German subsidiary of Goldman Sachs. In 2000, Achleitner joined Allianz, Allianz AG as chief financial officer, where he was primarily responsible for finance and investments. He left Allianz in 2012. Ann-Kristin Achleitner ( Koberg) is a German economist, currently a professor at Technical University of Munich. Career Before taking on her current position, Achleitner held an Endowed Chair for Banking and Finance at EBS University of Business and Law from 1995 to 2001 and Honorary Professor at EBS from 2002 to 2013. Patricia Mayr-Achleitner (née Mayr; born 8 November 1986 in Rum) is a retired Austrian tennis player. Mayr-Achleitner won 17 singles and seven doubles titles on the ITF Circuit in her career. On 4 May 2009, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 70. On 29 September 2014, she peaked at No. 117 in the doubles rankings. Georg Achleitner
Georg Achleitner (February 18, 1806 at Leissigen in Frankenburg am Hausruck – May 31, 1883 in Linz) was an Austrian lawyer and politician, most notably as a deputy to the Frankfurt Parliament in 1848–1849. Education and career Achleitner was the son of a miller. In 1825, he went to Vienna to study law. In 1831, he returned home and began a law career. From 1831 to 1834, he was legal intern at the courthouse in Strobl. From 1834 to 1835, he was an official of the so-called patrimonial court in Frankenburg and Engelszell. Until the mid-19th century, these courts handled the business of aristocratic landlords independently of the state judicial system. Hubert von Goisern (born Hubert Achleitner, 17 November 1952) is an Austrian singer-songwriter and world musician. With his mix of rock music and elements of traditional Volksmusik he has become a prominent exponent of the so-called New Volksmusik and Alpine Rock in Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
