Accell Group N.V. is a bicycle company based in Heerenveen, Netherlands. They own the bicycle brands Atala, Babboe, Batavus, Carraro Cicli, Ghost, Haibike, KOGA, Lapierre, Loekie, Nishiki, Raleigh, Sparta, Torker, Tunturi, Van Nicholas, Winora, and XLC components. Accell sells about 1.1 million bicycles a year, mainly in the American and European markets. In 2017, Accell lost the contract to sell bicycles through the outdoor chain Dick's Sporting Goods. Raleigh Bicycle Company
The Raleigh Bicycle Company is a British bicycle manufacturer based in Nottingham, England and founded by Woodhead and Angois in 1885. Using Raleigh as their brand name, it is one of the oldest bicycle companies in the world. Torker was a brand of bicycles and unicycles owned by Seattle Bike Supply, headquartered in Kent, Washington. History The Torker name was created by Johnson Engineering in Fullerton, California, Fullerton, California, CA in 1977 for a BMX bike frame. The first Haro Bikes, Haro bikes were made by Torker.
