Acceleration At Slovakia Ring
Acceleration at Slovakia Ring was the fifth weekend of Acceleration 2014, a multi-day festival combining top class car and bike racing with live music and other entertainment. The festival was organised by the International Sport Racing Association (ISRA), based in the Netherlands, to be held six times in 2014, starting 25–27 April in Portimao, Portugal and ending 17–19 October in Assen, Netherlands. The various racing competitions were Formula Acceleration 1 (FA1), the MW-V6 Pickup Series, the Legend SuperCup (LSC), the European Stock 1000 Series (ACC 1000) and the European Stock 600 Series (ACC 600). However, the FA1 did not compete during this round of the championship. Every driver entering Acceleration 2014 was eligible for points in the drivers' championship as well as the nations' championship. Orechová Potôň
Orechová Potôň ( hu, Diósförgepatony, ) is a village and municipality in the Dunajská Streda District in the Trnava Region of south-west Slovakia. History In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1250. Until the end of World War I, it was part of Hungary and fell within the Dunaszerdahely district of Pozsony County. After the Austro-Hungarian army disintegrated in November 1918, Czechoslovakian troops occupied the area. After the Treaty of Trianon of 1920, the village became officially part of Czechoslovakia. In November 1938, the First Vienna Award granted the area to Hungary and it was held by Hungary until 1945. After Soviet occupation in 1945, Czechoslovakian administration returned and the village became officially part of Czechoslovakia in 1947. Nestor Alexander Haddaway (born 9 January 1965) is a Trinidadian-born German singer best known for his 1993 hit single "What Is Love", which reached number 1 in 13 countries. Early life Nestor Alexander Haddaway was born in Trinidad and Tobago in 1965. His mother was a nurse and his father was a marine biologist. Giacomo Ricci (born 30 March 1985 in Baveno) is an Italian racing driver. Career Formula BMW Ricci began his car racing career by driving in the German-based Formula BMW ADAC series in 2001 and 2002, with a best finish of seventh in the drivers' championship. Alx Danielsson
Alexander "Alx" Danielsson (born 1 April 1981) is a Swedish racing driver and the 2006 champion of the Formula Renault 3.5 Series. He currently competes in the Swedish V8 Thundercar Series and as a fill-in driver on the Monster Jam circuit. Career Danielsson's career started in karting in 1998, where he stayed until 1999 before moving up to Formula Ford. Eoin Murray is an Irish auto racing driver, born 9 December 1982. After winning the European Alfa Romeo 147 Challenge in 2005, he made his BTCC debut in the middle of 2006. Early years Murray had a successful career in karts, culminating in victory in the Formula A championship of 1999. He dabbled in rallycross that winter, winning 6 races.
