Acantilados De Los Gigantes
Acantilados de Los Gigantes ("Cliffs of the Giants") are vertical cliffs along the western coast of Tenerife. They are vertical walls reaching heights of 500 metres in some places. They are a basaltic geological feature. In times of the Guanches they were known as the "Wall of Hell" (Muralla del Infierno). Punta is an Afro-indigenous dance and cultural music originating in the Caribbean Island of Saint Vincent And The Grenadines by the Garifuna people before being exiled from the island. Guanches
The Guanches were the indigenous inhabitants of the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean some west of Africa. It is believed that they may have arrived on the archipelago some time in the first millennium BCE. The Guanches were the only native people known to have lived in the Macaronesian archipelago region before the arrival of Europeans, as there is no accepted evidence that the other Macaronesian archipelagos (the Cape Verde Islands, Madeira and the Azores) were inhabited. Los Gigantes
Los Gigantes is a resort town in the Santiago del Teide municipality on the west coast of the Canary Island Tenerife. Its main feature are the giant rock formations, Acantilados de Los Gigantes, that rise from the sea to a height of 500-800 metres (1,640–2,625 ft) after which the town has been named. Los Gigantes means "The Giants". Nearby to the south are the resorts of Puerto de Santiago and Playa de la Arena. to the north is the village of Masca which can be reached by boat or car. Playa De La Arena
Playa de la Arena is a resort town located just south of the resorts of Los Gigantes and Puerto Santiago in the Santiago del Teide municipality on the West Coast of Tenerife, Spain.
